The other night on Max’s Have I Got News for You, Roy Wood realized that he, Michael Ian Black, Sam Seder, and Alex Edelman are all two degrees of separation from Kevin Bacon with the same actor.
Then, the host wanted to know if they could identify that actor by his crotch. No quicker than that photo went up did Edelman scream out Jon Hamm. He will know that Hamm Sandwich Meat anywhere.
No matter where Edelman goes, that is all anyone will remember him for. He will be doing his standup, and at least one person will heckle him by screaming out, “Jon Hamm.”
He is never going to live it down. And the roasting he got from Amber Ruffin and the others is just a glimpse of his future.
I just hope he continues to blush like that every time someone says the Mad Man’s name. I also want to know what Hamm thought of the comedian knowing his crotch quickly!
Jon Hamm is coming to Fox on January 7th. But you are not going to recognize him. That is because he is playing an animated detective in Grimsburg.
Grimsburg, starring and executive-produced by Emmy Award winner Jon Hamm (Mad Men), centers on Marvin Flute (Hamm), who may be the greatest detective ever to catch a cannibal clown and correctly identify a mid-century modern armoire. But there’s one mystery he still can’t crack — himself. To do that he must return to Grimsburg, a town where everyone has a secret or three, and redeem himself in the eyes of his fellow detectives, his ferociousex-wife and his lovably unstable son.
Grimsburg also stars Erinn Hayes, Alan Tudyk, Kevin Michael Richardson, and Rachel Dratch.
Before Jon Hamm was one of the Mad Men, he was one of the husbands trying not to make his wife mad on The Hughleys. He looks the same now as he did when he was 28 in that 2000 episode.
Now that Steven Carrell’s character is dead, The Morning Show can move on from him being the villain. So things are going to change in season 3.
The future of the network is thrown into question and loyalties are pushed to the brink when a tech titan (Jon Hamm) takes an interest in UBA. Unexpected alliances form, private truths are weaponized, and everyone is forced to confront their core values both in and out of the newsroom.
That is just a description of what we can expect. But the trailer shows us there is going to be so much more. And I am here to watch every second of their lives being destroyed in front of and behind the camera.
I am a former national television news employee, and this show makes me want to get back into the business. And no other show has done that. I won’t do it, but this show tempts me.
The Morning Show, which stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, returns to Apple TV+ on September 13th with all new episodes.
Spoiler alert, now that Steve Carrell’s character is dead, The Morning Show needs a new villain. And it looks like they are going to find him in Jon Hamm.
In “The Morning Show” season three, the future of the network is thrown into question and loyalties are pushed to the brink when a tech titan takes an interest in UBA. Unexpected alliances form, private truths are weaponized, and everyone is forced to confront their core values both in and out of the newsroom.
Will Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon work together? Will Bill Crudup learn his place? Will Mark Duplass finally find his balls?
We will have to tune into Apple TV+ on September 13th to find out. And I can’t wait! Because even though I am not a fan of Aniston or Witherspoon, I love this show. It doesn’t even cause me to have flashbacks to my days in network news like some other series.
