I think of Apple as a cult. As in, they come up with something new and people will buy it. They might not need the newest version of the iPhone, the iPad, the iPod, the iWatch or whatever else they come up with, but they have to have it no matter how much it costs.
Yesterday, Apple released a music subscription service for $9.99 month and people subscribed because it is Apple’s new product.
Well, it isn’t. Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, they debuted the hottest, new, must-have from Apple and it will only cost you $20 a month. What is it? They don’t know, they just want your money. And you know what, people who are part of the iCult, have already starting sending in their dinero. Have you?
Last week the Supreme Court made Same-Sex Marriage legal all over the United States and several people wondered how do you explain it to the kids. So Jimmy Kimmel Live went out on to the streets of Hollywood and asked kids if they know what gay marriage is. Not only do they know what it is, they don’t care. They think that everyone should get married if they want to.
What makes this video so precious is when the interviewer asked them why people should get married and if they plan on tying the knot some day. Watch the segment all the way through because the last kid is going to grow up to be a great divorce lawyer or the World’s Best Husband! You tell me.
There are certain holidays that Jimmy Kimmel Live likes to destroy for people like Halloween, April Fool’s Day and Father’s Day and yesterday was no exemption. The ABC late night host asked his viewers to surprise their dads in the shower with breakfast. He asked the offspring to serve it him in there, and many of them threw it on their sperm donors. To say the naked men weren’t happy would be an understatement.
Out of all the viral dares that JKL has done throughout the years, I think this one is the worst. Not in as it’s so bad, it’s funny. But as in it totally didn’t work and was just mean. Did you think it was funny or plain cruel?
Before Kobe Bryant was one the top players in the NBA getting tons of endorsement deals, he was just a Rookie in the NBA guest starring on TNBC’s Hang Time. You could totally tell the 19 year old was going to be a star from that 1997 episode.
