Last year, Jimmy Kimmel took the summer off because of the pandemic. This year, he is doing the same.
Since the show must go on, it will with guest hosts. Starting on July 6th, Wanda Sykes, Nick Kroll, David Spade, Anthony Mackie, Sarah Silverman, Arsenio Hall, Julie Bowen, Maren Morris, Phoebe Robinson, Niall Horan, and many more will be sitting in his chair.
However, the cushiest job is going to Anthony Anderson. He will be coming off of the bench to fill in for Kimmel for the Jimmy Kimmel Live: NBA Finals Game Night episode. Any basketball would want the job, and the black-ish star got the title.
When it comes to Kimmel, I have a feeling that next year will be his final year of hosting the ABC late night talk show. Whenever they start bringing in replacements, it feels like the host is ready to move on. I could be wrong; we will find out.
We are used to seeing Jimmy Kimmel’s arms covered up with clothes. However, he had to show them off when he got his COVID-19 vaccine today. What did we learn? We learned two things, one, he cries when he gets a shot, and the other thing is that he has huge arm muscles.
If ABC wants to improve Jimmy Kimmel Live’s ratings, then all they need to do is have him do the show in a muscle shirt. Heck, why does he even need to wear a shirt? I bet he has a six-pack going on. And I am not talking about beer.
BTW I wonder if he got those muscles using Donald Trump’s face on a punching bag?
One last thing, get the vaccine. Even though he is making it look like it hurts, it doesn’t.
Can you believe it has been almost a year since we started living Groundhog’s Day every day? Well, it has been, and Jimmy Kimmel Live is going to celebrate it on March 11th.
To celebrate Coronaversary, he is bringing back Mayor Pete, who hosted the last show in the JKL studio before they went on a COVID-19 hiatus on March 11, 2020. Since then, the Mayor got promoted to the U.S. Transportation Secretary. At least one person doesn’t wake up to the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.
Joel McHale will also be a guest on the episode, and Adam Duritz will be performing.
I wonder if the other late night hosts will do it too. Maybe they should make a fundraiser?
