ABC might’ve cancelled Not Dead Yet, but that does not mean that they are done with Gina Rodriguez. The actress has been cast to star alongside Ramón Rodríguez (no relation) in season 3 of Will Trent.
According to Deadline, she “will portray Marion Alba, a charismatic, confident Assistant District Attorney new to Atlanta. After her first encounter with Will falls flat, the pair is surprised to learn that they must work together to investigate a crime in the world of Atlanta gangs.”
You would think a show called Not Dead Yet would never die. But today, ABC announced the comedy starring Gina Rodriguez, Lauen Ash, and Brad Garrett will not be back for a third season.
The news is not surprising, but it still hurts. It was a sweet show that made you smile even when there were sad scenes.
Even though the show is ending, it had a satisfying season finale. Although, I would have liked to have seen where they could’ve gone.
Friends have nicknames for each other, and they can call you that in public. My buddies like to call me bitch, and I wear that name with pride.
The other day, when Gina Rodriguez was on The Talk, she shared the name that her best friend has been calling her since they were 18. And it is not a name she likes being called in public anymore.
What is it? Vag-gina. When they were younger, it was cute. But now that they are moms and the actress is on TV, being called Vag in public is not a good thing.
I can’t say I blame her for wanting to retire that nickname.
Gina Rodriguez and her husband, Joe LoCicero, are going to be on this season of Hollywood Houselift with Jeff Lewis, and they gave Lewis and his team Megan Weaver, Tyler Meyerkorth, Andrew Coleman, and Shane Douglas, a tour of their house, including their bedroom. In their special room, they have a swing. Not any ordinary one, but a sex swing. And they use it every day.
That’s right, the sweet girl from Jane the Virgin is not that innocent. And I love it. I am also jealous but impressed. I can’t wait to see what else the couple reveals. Although, what can top that?
While that is what we learn about the LoCiceros, I wonder what other hidden gems we are going to see in the houses of Anthony Anderson, Cynthia Bailey, Noah Beck, Kate Bosworth, Reggie Bush, Josh Duhamel, Sara Foster, Regina Hall, and Christina Ricci who also appear this season.
Hollywood Houselift with Jeff Lewis will debut on FreeVee later this year. You can watch the first season now for free on the streaming service.
