One Direction was on The Late Late Show yesterday and James Corden asked them to play a game dodgeball against the Ball Busters. That is exactly what the female team did when one of them threw a ball that landed smack into Harry Styles’ balls. Someday when he tells his adopted children why he couldn’t have any kids, he can tell them the Story of My Life and show them this video.
Yesterday was Cinco De Mayo and The Late Late Show wanted to celebrate the holiday by having the guests, Kaley Cuoco and LL Cool J, play with a pinata. Only problem was is that they couldn’t find one. What did they do? They had the CBS late night host dress up as one and let the guests go all big bang on him.
Basically, they were blindfolded, given a bat and told to hit the swinging man in the harness as hard they can. If that doesn’t say S&M, I don’t know what does. I know I am going to try that game this weekend. I will be punishing the swinger of course because that is how I play the game. How do you play it?
Arnold Schwarzenegger was on The Late Late Show yesterday and James Corden had the action hero act out a lot of his movies with him in 6 minutes. I forgot how many movies Arnuld did, and that he did the same acting in all of them. But that doesn’t mean they weren’t enjoyable, or at least they seemed that way after watching this.
When it comes to movies they did, all I will say is True Lies got them in trouble and that is the bloody truth. So sit back but not like Governator, and enjoy it like the Governator. That will all make sense when you hit play.
Kumail Nanjiani and Idina Menzel were both guests on The Late Late Show yesterday and James Corden asked the Wicked singer, “Did you have a good night?” She asked him the same question and he told her that, “I’ve had the time of my life.” Then two of them broke out into the song from Dirty Dancing. Which was extremely odd, not only because his voice got extremely deep, but because it was just weird. I wasn’t the only one who thought so, Nanjiani’s face towards the end of the song proves he feels the same way. He’s like WTF did I sign up for and WTH did my publicist get me in to? Kumail, I am not quite sure.
Seriously, if it wasn’t for his expression, I would not have posted it. When I saw his face, I broke out in to uncontrollable laughter. Didn’t it make you laugh hysterically too because it is so unexpected? I know he is a comedian, but I think he meant to make that face.
James Corden has been hosting The Late Late Show for just over a month now and I think he’s created the most cringe worthy segment to ever air on late night television. Besides Anna Faris and Tituss Burgess being on the show, Chef David George Gordon also appeared on the CBS late night show. Gordon is known as The Bug Chef and brought several of the buggers for them to eat. It started out simple with grasshoppers, but after that I watched the rest of the segment with my hands over my eyes. That’s because the next dishes included ants, cockroaches and finally tarantula.
Corden was the only one brave enough to eat all that was offered, but the other two only skipped one each.
If I were up there, as soon as I saw the cooked ants, I would’ve been out of there. I don’t care that they can increase your sex life, they are still ants and they are meant to be smushed not eaten. Don’t get me started on roaches, they need to be extinct already.
