It has been a long time since Steve Martin and Jack Black have done a good funny movie and I am not sure that this will be The Big Year for them as they play father and son in a film together. You know it is not going to be that good when the intro to the trailer is funnier than anything in the preview. Poor Luke, I mean Owen Wilson, but at least for him it was the legendary Dean Martin who confused him for his brother.
Before Jack Black was a substitute teacher in School of Rock, he was a cab driver on The Golden Palace. He looks the same now as he did when he was 23 in that 1992 episode.

Shirley MacLaine and Jack Black were seen walking hand in hand at the Los Angeles Film Festival and I have to wonder if they have something to tell us? Nope it is just the two co-stars, who took the special friendship they had in their movie Bernie on the red carpet with them. But for a few minutes how much fun was it to think they really had something going because they make a cute couple.
BTW here is the two of them talking to Reuters about their movie that also stars Matthew McConaughey!
Jack Black has said that he is ready to lose weight and one of the ways he plans on doing it is by eating hot peppers. So David Letterman wanted to see if he could withstand as much heat as his movies get from the critics by giving him three different hot peppers to eat on his CBS Late Show. He gave him a Jalepeno, a Serrano and the dreaded Habanero and the Gulliver’s Travels star took a bite from all three, seeds and all. Sadly they cut the video short before we got to see how he reacted to eating one of the hottest peppers out there, but the cameras wouldn’t have been with him anyways when it is worse. Because it hurts going in and hurts a lot more coming out and gives new meaning to hot pants and that is what I truly want to see!!!
BTW if you want to see how he reacted to eating the Habanero, then tune into The Late Show with David Letterman tonight on CBS at 11:35a.

Jack Black was in London promoting his latest bomb Gulliver’s Travels and his hair looked blacker than normal. So I have to wonder if the Kung Fu Panda got into Ben Stiller’s cover-the-grey hair dye?
