Harrison Ford is 82 years old. But that does not mean that he is too old to experience the ramifications of childhood disease.
The actor who was supposed to be a presenter at the Oscars tomorrow was forced to drop out. According to Entertainment Weekly, he tested positive for shingles, which is caused by the dormant virus of chickenpox that stays in your system for the rest of your life after you get it.
It is sometimes brought on by stress. So I blame the SAG Awards and Jessica Williams for making him feel guilty because he was caught eating a cookie live on the air. What else could he be stressing about?
The Academy wasted no time in announcing that Mark Hamill will fill in for his old buddy. Once again, Luke Skywalker has to save the day because of Han Solo.
I have not seen the last three Star Wars movies and I don’t remember the fourth, fifth, and sixth episodes. So, I am just assuming that he had to do that.
And I also have never had chickenpox, but I am vaccinated. Because I never had that pox on my body. I have been itchy with each letter I typed in this post. It is purely psychological, but it is what it is every time I hear the words chickenpox and shingles.
Finally, I hope the force is strong with Ford, and he is better soon and that he doesn’t experience the pain of shingles.
Over the weekend, David Duchovny went to the SAG Awards to present with his X-Files co-star Gillian Anderson.
While he was there, he ran into Harrison Ford, and he took this photo. Seeing the two men together, I don’t know why they have never played father and son.
Not only do they look alike, but they have the driest sense of humor in Hollywood. I honestly don’t know whose is drier. It is why I love watching interviews with them, but I hate interviewing them. Actually, I have only interviewed Duchovny, and he is fun to talk to. But you have to be able to match his energy. If you can’t, then the interview is a bust. And I saw an interview with him go to shit because he was asked a moronic question.
Yesterday, the season 2 premiere of Shrinking debuted on Apple TV+, and today, the streamer wasted no time in picking up the series for a third season.
“I’m so lucky to work on ‘Shrinking’ with actors, writers and a crew so talented that they all elevate the material,” said co-creator and executive producer Bill Lawrence. “I’m even luckier that they are people I’d want to spend time with anyway. Huge thanks to Apple TV+ and Warner Bros. for the amazing partnership and support. So grateful we get to keep making this show. Onward!”
Starring Jason Segel and Harrison Ford in one of his first television roles, “Shrinking” follows grieving therapist Jimmy (played by Segel), who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives … including his own. In addition to Segel and Ford, “Shrinking” stars Emmy Award nominee Christa Miller, Emmy Award nominee Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell and Ted McGinley. Season two also features a guest star appearance by Brett Goldstein.
The first two episodes started streaming yesterday, and we will get a new episode every Wednesday until the season finale on Christmas Day.
Have you anxiously been waiting for Shrinking to come back? But you don’t have to wait much longer. That is because Apple TV+ announced today that Bikl Lawrence dramedy starring Jason Segel and Harrison Ford will return to the office soon.

The cast of Apple TV+’s Shrinking got together, and they all looked happy to be there. Well, not everyone. Harrison Ford appears to be his typical grumpy self. Although, it might be his happy face. We don’t know because we never see him smile.
