Cobra Kai gets picked up for season 5 before 4 even debuts
August 27th, 2021 under Billy Zabka, Harold and Kumar, Netflix, Ralph Macchio. [ Comments: none ]

The fourth season of Cobra Kai is set to debut in December, but Netflix is not waiting until then to renew the Emmy-nominated show for another season. The show’s EP Jon Hurwitz announced that it will be back for a 5th season today.

The upcoming season is about them taking their fight to All Valley, so I am assuming the next one will be the ramifications of who wins and who loses. But I am just spitballing.

If you have not seen Cobra Kai, the sequel of The Karate Kid movies, you are missing out on the biggest fan-favorite show out now.

John Cho suffered a knew injury while rehearsing a scene for Netflix’s upcoming 10-episode series Cowboy Bebop. According to Deadline, the freak accident will shut production down in New Zealand for 7-9 months so that the actor can get surgery and extensive rehabilitation in Los Angeles.

Cho did not confirm the accident, but did post this Bruce Lee quote on social media, “Water can flow or it can crash.”

Get well soon. With rumors that we could get another Harold & Kumar movie, we need him to better for that. Nah, we just need him better.

Kal Penn teases that Harold & Kumar 4 could be happening!
August 9th, 2019 under Harold and Kumar, Kal Penn. [ Comments: 1 ]

Fifteen years ago, we got to know Harold and Kumar as they went to White Castle. However, it has been almost 8 long years since the BFFs have gotten high and they might be lighting up again!

Yesterday, when Kal Penn was talking to reporters about his new NBC show Sunnyside (that debuts on September 26th) at NBC’s Summer Press Tour Day, someone asked him if he would every play Kumar Patel again. The actor told us that he and John Cho recently spoke with the two writers, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, about doing a fourth movie together. Unfortunately, the latter two are working on Cobra Kai, Penn has Sunnyside coming up and Cho is busy doing his own thang. Therefore, they cannot smoke together until at least the end of the year. The former White House employee says that is when they will try to come up with an idea for the next movie.

I think they should do Harold & Kumar Look for Neil Patrick Harris. NPH just disappeared from sight over the last few years and now they are on a mission to find him. Every time Harris finds out that they are on to him, he finds a new place to hide. All along the way, they try new strains of pot that are local to the area where they have been searching for their arch-nemesis. Giving them a different high at each spot.

How long does Penn think he can play his most famous role? He said, “I would consider myself lucky if I have a chance to make Harold and Kumar 15 when I am like 70 years old.” Could you imagine Harold & Kumar Go to Assisted Living and they try to get all their neighbors high? Actually, they should do that for the fourth one!

Harold and Kumar go to a bar!
March 27th, 2018 under Harold and Kumar. [ Comments: 2 ]

Thirteen years ago, we were lucky enough to meet Harold and Kumar as they went to a White Castle. Turns out that John Cho and Kal Penn were even luckier to have met each other. Because after all of these years and a bad sequel (which I liked), they still hang out together. Although, I am not sure how much they really like each other? I am think Cho forgot the weed or the White Castle and now I am craving both!

BTW when are we going to get a fourth movie already?

Kal Penn dancing with himself in an airplane bathroom

While most people want to use the lavatory on an airplane to join the mile high club, Kal Penn used his time in there to turn it into a nightclub. Proving whether you are dancing with myself or with a partner in the friendly skies, doing it at 35,000 feet is always a lot more fun.
Out of the two clubs, I think the only one who would grant me entry in the High Penn. What about you?
