Lacey Chabert is taking Hallmark Channel to Disney World!
December 7th, 2025 under Hallmark. [ Comments: none ]

Hey, Lacey Chabert, now that you have had another successful Christmas season of holiday movies on the Hallmark Channel, what are you going to do? She is going to Disney World!

The actress announced that next Christmas season, she will star in Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True, which will be filmed at Disney World. That is the first time the two have collaborated on a movie.

“The history between Hallmark and Disney dates back decades, when a shared Kansas City connection and friendship between Hallmark’s founder, J.C. Hall, and Walt Disney himself led to our first-ever licensed products, including the very first greeting card featuring Mickey Mouse,” said Darren Abbott, Chief Brand Officer, Hallmark. “We’re thrilled to expand our partnership beyond the products we create together and onto the screen with this heartwarming and joyful Christmas movie that embodies the very best of both brands.”

The telemovie follows Lindsey (Chabert) and her extended family head to Walt Disney World to spend a magical Christmas together. But the dream of a jolly holiday gets quickly dashed when Lindsey discovers her room is next door to Philip (Travis Van Winkle), a disastrous first date she recently had, who’s also there on a family trip. As Lindsey and Philip’s paths cross throughout their stay, the frost starts to thaw as they learn they’re not so different from each other after all. Thanks to some Walt Disney World magic, the holiday wish Lindsey made in Cinderella Fountain just might turn their rivalry into romance.

Chabert and Van Winkle will be joined at the Happiest Place on Earth by Richard Kind, Christy Carlson Romano, Bryce Durfee, Taegen Burns, Asher Alexander, and Patrick Renna.

This will be just one of the many films that will be part of Countdown to Christmas. But I have a feeling it will also be the most memorable one in 2026.

When Calls the Heart renewed for season 14
December 2nd, 2025 under Hallmark. [ Comments: none ]

Hallmark Channel called When Calls the Heart today and told them they will be back for season 14.

And that is not all. Lori Loughlin will reprise her role for six of the twelve episodes. This is the first time she has appeared on the long-running period drama since the college admission bribery scandal in 2019. However, she has appeared on the spinoff, When Hope Calls.

WCTH will film next year, I am assuming, after Erin Krakow’s maternity leave, and debut in 2027.

Season 13, which wrapped filming last month, will return with new episodes on January 4th.

When Calls the Hearts’ Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum’s hearts called each other
June 24th, 2025 under Hallmark. [ Comments: none ]

People love When Calls the Heart so much that it is Hallmark’s #1 show, even in its 12th season. Fans aren’t the only ones falling in love; so are the cast members.

Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum, who have been with the series since season one, recently tied the knot. The newlyweds shared a photo yesterday from their wedding, and they look so much in love.

Even though they have been working together for over 11 years, they didn’t reveal they were dating until Valentine’s Day 2024. Therefore, we don’t know when they went from co-stars to lovers. But we do know that they are that now!

And they are not the only ones who met their soulmate on the period drama; Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace will celebrate their first wedding anniversary in September!

How many other scripted shows can say that they brought two couples together?
