Prudence Macintyre, a humorous, Martha-Stewart-like advice columnist and TV personality, escapes to a much-needed vacation from her work-driven life. There she becomes embroiled in a murder mystery by using her own quick-witted, good-housekeeping tips. In doing so, she gains a better understanding of the mother she wasn’t close to her in her youth and takes her first steps toward finding a balanced life that includes true love.
Dear Prudence premieres on Hallmark Channel tonight at 9p! I have to admit when I saw Jane Seymour was in it, I wanted to skip this movie but I am glad I didn’t. This a fun movie that could so work as a weekly series.
Prudence is a woman who give tips on how to fix things with stuff around your house. In fact on the movie there were lots of a great tips I will start using. Anyways back to the movie, Prudence is in desperate need of a vacation, so her boss sends her to his Lodge in Wyoming. While there the woman, who is taking care of the Lodge and her, finds out her son had been murdered and Prudence takes it among herself to solve the crime. She flies in her assistant from NY and together the two find out who murdered her son with all the tips she gives to her viewers.
So tune in to Hallmark tonight at 9p for Dear Prudence is fun crime solving movie that will leave you wanting more.
Months after a former FBI hostage rescue team leader Jack Bender is unceremoniously fired from the Bureau for not being a team player, he finds himself embroiled in the ultimate hostage nightmare: stuck aboard a plane that’s been taken over by a group of well-armed terrorists who threaten to detonate a nuclear weapon unless they receive a billion dollars. The clock is ticking…
Final Approach is one of the most suspenseful movies I have seen in while! There is so much of this movie that you are like it is way over the top, but it works unlike other movies that try the same thing.
It stars Dean Cain as the good guy and Anthony Michael Hall as the bad guy along with Tracey Gold as a reporter on the hijacked place, Scott Reeves (looking good with longer hair) as passenger, Lea Thompson as Cain’s wife and Ernie Hudson as the trigger happy FBI agent.
I don’t want to go into to much detail of the this movie because so much is happening, I don’t want to give it away. You will never guess what is happening next! The acting is great, the speed of the movie is like an adrenaline rush and the story is perfect.
So tune into part one of the movie that will hijack you for part two on Hallmark tonight at 8p!
Gwen, a book publisher’s assistant, has all but given up on love, having watched yet another friend walk down the isle. But when she is assigned to edit the long-awaited memoirs of Dahlia, a famous romance novelist (Delta Burke) who has had more than a few marriages of her own, Dahlia decides to teach Gwen the secrets of landing her perfect man, and promises to find her a husband within six months! But in the rush to the altar, will Gwen choose the right man for her?
Bridal Fever is the perfect movie to watch on a Saturday night or any night.
This movie had me at Delta Burke, and even though she steals every scene that she is in the movie is just as enjoyable when she is not in it!
Gwen is played by Andrea Roth (Rescue Me) and it so interesting to see her in a different role than the one she plays on Rescue Me. And she nails this role as an Editor’s Assistant who gets a chance to work on the memoirs on one of the most famous romance novelists of our day. While Gwen is there to edit her book, it is Dahlia who edits her life and helps the single woman find love with Mr Right.
So tune into Bridal Fever tonight at 9p on The Hallmark Channel and see how she finds love!
A Stranger's Heart premieres on the Hallmark Channel tonight at 8p and replays on Sunday at 7p. A Stranger's Heart is a story about finding love when you least expect it.
Callie (Samatha Mathis) is a woman who is in desperate need of a heart transplant and the time has finally come for her to get a new heart. While waiting for the new heart she spends time in a hospital with other people who are waiting for a new heart. There she meets Jasper (Peter Dobson), an irritating man in her eyes because she thinks he takes the upcoming transplant to lightly. After weeks of waiting she receives her new heart and so does Jasper. Along with the new heart, she starts to feels the same emotions as the woman who had the heart before her. That includes the feelings for the woman's daughter and the man who now has the woman's husband's heart, Jasper. Jasper feels the same for Callie and the little girl, who lost both her parents one tragic night. Will the new couple let the hearts of two loved ones bring them together like the soulmates who had had the hearts before them and will they be able to reach out to a little girl who their hearts long to love? Tune in and find out.
Samantha Mathis is brilliant in the role as woman that sees life differently once she gets a second chance at it. Peter Dobson is one of my favorite actors and this movie proved no different. He brings a certain charm to this movie that even when he is being a prankster you can see the goodness in him. There is a reason why he keeps playing Elvis. The chemistry between the two in the movie will melt your heart and the story will bring tears to your eyes. But then again Hallmark and Kleenex go together hand in hand.
What I loved most about this movie is that it plays with the whole theory that love begins with the heart! A Stranger's Heart has a lot of heart, so get the kleenex ready and watch this movie. I promise you will love it as much as I did!
