Seriously? OMG! WTF?

Oscar-winning US actress Gwyneth Paltrow feels dinner talk is far more interesting in her adopted homeland Britain than back in her native country. "I love the English lifestyle, it’s not as capitalistic as America. People don’t talk about work and money, they talk about interesting things at dinner," she told "NS," the weekend magazine supplement of daily Portuguese newspaper Diario de Noticias on Saturday. "I like living here because I don’t fit into the bad side of American psychology. The British are much more intelligent and civilized than the Americans," the 34-year-old added. Paltrow, who won a best actress Oscar for 1998’s "Shakespeare in Love," lives in London with British band Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin whom she wed in 2003. She said having US pop star Madonna, 48, who married British film director Guy Ritchie six years ago, nearby was another advantage to living in London. "She’s like an older sister. Everything I have gone through, she went through ten times worse and ten times longer. She gives me good advice about how to say no and take care of myself," said Paltrow.

You can keep her. I don’t want her back! Does anyone think she is a good actress? Seriously all her movies bore me and her English accent sucks. I never get why they love her so much, part of me thinks a lot of those critics and Oscar voters just were trying to go through her to get in to her mother’s pants. BTW her mom is also a one note actress. OK I feel better now!

STELLA MCCARTNEY and GWYNETH PALTROW are reportedly trying to matchmake their single parents SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY and BLYTHE DANNER. The fashion designer and Oscar-winning actress, who are close friends, think MCCartney, 64, and Danner, 63 would be perfect for each other because they are close in age and have both lost spouses to cancer. A source tells British magazine Star, "Gwyneth’s mum is much closer to Paul’s age than HEATHER (MILLS) was, and Gwyn and Stella are practically best friends. "They would love it if their parents hooked up – and believe me, they’ve talked about it."

Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow is branching out into the music business, and will direct her husband Chris Martin in his band Coldplay’s next video.The 33-year-old ‘Sliding Doors’ star is now actively seeking work behind the camera, as it is an easy way for the pair to be together.An insider says: "Gwyneth has said she’s keen to direct pop videos said Chris has agreed to let her direct one for Coldplay. "She loves the band and their music, and it’s a way for her and Chris to be together while he’s working."

She wasn’t even born when her fellow countrymen The Beach Boys released California Girls.But it seems the spirit of the band’s most famous track is alive and well on Gwyneth Paltrow’s current beach holiday. The 33-year-old actress swopped the breakers of her birth place California for some rather more tame water near the home of her husband Chris Martin’s parents in Cornwall.Not only were the waves smaller, but the sky was surely a little greyer and the air a spot colder than back home.Though she looked a little shaky to start, it soon became apparent that catching waves really is in her blood.In fact, by the end of her first hour-long lesson, the Oscar-winner managed to graduate from lying flat on her chunky yellow beginners’ board to standing upright, at least for a few seconds  anyway. Dressed head to toe in a black wetsuit, and with her blonde hair tied back out of the way in a ball, Gwyneth went about her business almost unnoticed on the Cornish beach, save for one fellow surfer who managed to capture these images on a compact camera. She looked in fantastic shape despite giving birth to the couple’s second child Moses just four months ago. The only evidence of the birth was her small tummy which became evident when the black wetsuit silhouetted against the white surf behind her.

GWYNETH PALTROW is thinking of having plastic surgery to repair the lumps and bumps of her post-baby figure. But I reckon the Oscar-winning actress has had one macrobiotic yogurt too many — because she appears to be in great shape to me. The picture here was taken just a week ago.The mum-of-two and wife of COLDPLAY ’s CHRIS MARTIN told a group of old American friends who were visiting London last week: “My stomach is rippling, my breasts don’t feel good. I’ve been trying to work out. I want to do something about it.”Then she quizzed one of them about surgery while they were lunching at North London’s trendy Lord Stanley pub. And, in true American style, her chum recommended she have the op in New York so she wouldn’t be pictured going to hospital. Gwyneth, who gave birth to son Moses by caesarean in April, also confessed she wasn’t sure about having any more children. She told her friends she loved being a mum. But when they asked if she planned to have more children she replied: “I don’t think so.”
