As we know Gordon Ramsay is a Chef and he is always on our televisions, but did you know he recently weighed as much as 270 pounds? I did not see it on Hell’s Kitchen, MasterChef or Master Chef Jr, but, then again, I do not live with him. His wife Tana does and she told her husband, “Little pickers wear bigger knickers.”
That is when he took it seriously, and she took charge. Together, she helped him get down to 220 pounds. Now, as you can see in this Today interview, he is looking as scrumptious as the meals he serves up.
What did he do differently? Instead of eating three big meals, he east five smaller ones. That and exercise.
What was his biggest motivator? His father passed away at 53. Since he is 51, he does not want his four kids to not have them during some of the biggest moments of their lives. He regrets that his dad never ate any of his restaurants.
Now that he is a healthy weight again, he will live long enough to be a grandfather and have completely taken over the whole Fox lineup. Which it seems like he is on his way to doing.
On that note, next week, June 13th, his show 24 hours to Hell & Back debuts, and you are not going to watch Kitchen Nightmares on speed!

For the last 8 seasons, MasterChef has kept things the same way, but tonight at 8p they are changing it on Fox. Not only will it be the first time that Gordon Ramsay, Aarón Sánchez and Joe Bastianich judge the show together, the show changed up the way they pick their top 24.
It used to be a group of 2-3 contestants would cook their signature dishes for the judges and then the MasterChefs would select one in the group to move on. Not anymore. Now, each judge is given 8 aprons and they pick which future MasterChef they want on their team. What if 2 or all 3 of the judges pick one cook? Then that cook gets to decide who they want to work with. When that happens, the judges plead their cases and tonight there will be a few surprises. I like the change and can’t wait to see it play out after the top 24 are finalized.
When it comes to the contestants, you are going to love someone so much tonight, you are going to want him to win. See if you can guess who I am talking about? Then there is a moment that is going to make you so happy that Bastianich is back on the show. I never thought he would be my favorite MasterChef, but he has surpassed Ramsay in the heart and encouraging department.
When it comes to the cooking competition, like a fruitcake it never goes bad. Unlike a fruitcake, you just want to eat it up every week and not curse out the person who gave you that disgusting gift. Therefore, tune in tonight and every Wednesday to see home cooks become MasterChefs!
On Friday night, MasterChef Junior flew the contestants’ grandmothers out to be on the show and the three judges dressed up like grannies.
After they revealed how old they got to the kids, Gordon Ramsay sat down and talked to one of the memaws, who is a real spitfire. She asked the MasterChef if he can cook and he told her he could. If that was not bad enough, she then wanted to know if he is on television. He very nicely said to her that he has a few shows on TV. Even though she does not watch the tube, she asked him for a card. That is when he felt his big granny boobs to see if he had one. Since he did not, he told her that they were going to have to go for a dance after the show was done taping. How much do you want to bet that she can cut a rug and dance all night long?

Graham Norton posted an oldie but goodie interview with baddie Gordon Ramsay. I say baddie because the BBC host made the mistake of asking him about his French girlfriend.
You see she taught, the then 23-year-old, French and Frenching. Not the upper lips, but the others one. There was only one thing, he says, “It’s difficult down there.” Then he explained that her “funny” started around her belly button and it was very hairy. Adding, “They don’t do bikini waxes in France.” Total baddie right. Plus, he looked like a little mischievous boy has shared this information.
Think it cannot get worst? Graham tried to change the subject to French food and told Ramsay said that he cannot make peace with French women by saying their food sounds sexier because they are already insulted. Then the Chef said, “I did not insult them, I just said they were bushy.” This is when it gets bad, he asked French actress Juliette Binoche, who was sitting next to him, “Do you wax?” Her face says it all.
Think his goose has finally been cooked? Far from it because he then asked the host if he waxes his crack. Why? Because Ramsay thought it was quite common for him and friends to do that. This is when Norton’s face says it all.
When it comes to if Ramsay takes the crust off of his Beef Wellington, he does not.
This interview is such a classic because you just do not expect him to be so naughty and look so devilish as talks about such things. I wish he would let loose on American TV like he did there. I just got a huge thrill of watching him be a naughty, naughty boy. One you want to take back to the red room and punish!
He needs to do a Fifty Shades like cookbook. One where he has to do a lot of feather plucking and removing peels. If you get what I mean?
We have seen MasterChef and MasterChef Junior and now Gordon Ramsay is introducing us to MasterChef Senior with The Late Late Show’s James Corden as a judge. Instead of kids, it is senior citizens going for the win. How will they do? We will just have to tune unto the Imagine network to find out.
While MasterChef Senior is not real, MasterChef Junior is and it is back tonight at 8p on Fox tonight for its sixth season. The girls and then the boys compete to be the top 24 which could include the series’ first siblings competing for the title of MasterChef Junior. Did I mention that Joe Bastianich is back? Need anymore reason to watch?
