John Travolta doesn’t have time for Glee
January 25th, 2011 under Glee, John Travolta. [ Comments: 1 ]

John Travolta is one of the few actors who was asked to do Glee, and said no. According to PTI he said, “They’ve asked but when I do musicals I train for six to nine months… and a show like that is an on-demand thing. I really have a criteria or a pride that I would wanna knock ’em dead, and I don’t think I’d knock ’em dead in a week.” Obviously he hasn’t seen the show because it is not like their choreography is that elaborate, and the way he glides as he walks normally he would totally knock ’em dead.
Actually I am glad that he said no Glee because the show is like Will & Grace and all about the stunt casting.

Glee won’t be taken down to a Paradise City
January 18th, 2011 under Axl Rose, Glee. [ Comments: none ]

Slash was doing an interview with Entertainment Weekly and he sang to them what the chances are of ever hearing any of his Guns N’Roses songs on Glee. The curly haired rocker said, “Actually, we got asked about that once already but it got turned down. In the current climate of what’s going on in entertainment these days, I try to be more optimistic than negative because it’s really easy to get negative about it, but I draw the line at Glee. Glee is worse than Grease and Grease is bad enough…. When Grease came out I was like, ‘Oh, c’mon, give me a break.’ Actually, I look at Grease now and think: Between High School Musical and Glee, Grease was a brilliant work of art.” He so has a point! Sadly, but true.
Ryan Murphy Don’t Cry about it, some other band will gratefully Welcome their music to the Jungle of your show. Just let GNR Live and Let Die because Chinese Democracy sent the band to be Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door.

A tale of two Link Larkins
January 10th, 2011 under Glee, Hairspray, Zac Efron. [ Comments: 1 ]

Matthew Morrison and Zac Efron met up at the Audi and J. Mendel Celebrate the Kick Off of Golden Globe Week event and we got to see the Broadway and the movie versions of Hairspray’s Link Larkins together. Back in 2007 when the movie came out no one gave a sh!t about the actor who originated the role in the Broadway musical back in 2003, but then in 2009 we all started caring when a little show called Glee took over the airwaves.
Seeing the two Links together which one do you think Tracy Turnblad would choose? I know my choice…Zac Efron hands down!!!
