I love Ghosts! My favorite scene from the CBS sitcom is when Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky) told her husband Elias (Matt Walsh) to go to hell. And he did.
Well, tonight at 8:30p on Fox, Elias is back, and he wants to stay. All he has to do is get his wife to sign a contract saying she forgives him. Will she sign it?
When she is hesitant to do it, he makes a deal with one of the other Ghosts to go to hell in his place. Can the Ghosts save that ghost?
And then there is Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar); he accidentally walks through Flower (Sheila Carrasco) and gets high. He likes it so much he needs more of her ghost ability. Can Sam (Rose McIver) save her husband from himself?
Oh, and did I mention what song Elias says is playing on repeat in hell? The producers had fun with their choice. But I will warn you, you won’t be able to get it out of your head once you find out which tune it is.
Just when I think I couldn’t love Ghosts anymore, they find a way to do it. There is a reason why this is CBS’s second most watched program! Find out why.
Then at 9p on Fox, it is time for Animal Control and more animals.
Amit (Ravi V. Patel) and Victoria (Grace Palmer) have to go get a bear out of a hot tub, and that is not the worst thing they have to deal with that day. Amit forgot to sign his daughter’s permission slip for her school trip, so she has to spend the day with them. She makes bears seem tame compared to her antics.
And there were last week’s antics when Frank (Joel McHale) slept with Doleres (Kelli Ogmundson). When she blows off their one-night stand, Frank can’t understand why and things start to go bad for him.
However, not as bad as they go for Emily (Vella Lovell). She asks the man she replaced for lunch, and things go horribly wrong. So much so that I will tell you not to eat before you watch this episode. But I have said too much.
Tune into Animal Control for the animals, but stay for the hearts and laughter!
Tonight at 8:30p on CBS’s Ghosts, Samantha (Rose McIver) has written Captain Isaac Higgintoot’s (Brandon Scott Jones) biography, and she is pitching it to publishers. Well, just one, because all of the other ones have turned her down. Will this Founding Father’s story finally be told?
If that is not enough pressure for Sam, her archnemesis from journalism school is staying at the Woodstone Manor B&B. So, Sam feels like she needs to be more successful than she is. So what happens when her old school enemy finds out about the book? Will Sam tell her it has been published?
She is not the only one having a bad day. Flower (Sheila Carrasco), the hippie, doesn’t like her new boyfriend Thor’s (Devan Chandler Long) anger, so he asks Pete (Richie Moriarty) to help him manage his temper. Can Pete teach a 1,100-year-old Viking how to be calmer? I mean, after 1,000 years, Thor has settled into his ways.
And finally, there is Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky) and Trevor (Asher Grodman), who are trying to keep their relationship a secret. How far will they go to their torrid affair, hush hush?
Ghosts does a lot in a half hour, and it is never enough time for this show. It should be three hours long because I can never get enough of it.
It is happiness wrapped up into a ball with a lot of naughtiness mixed in.
Tonight at 8:30p on CBS, Trevor (Asher Grodman) gets some sad news on Ghosts. While Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) is out fishing with some guests from the Woodstone Manor B&B, one of them catches his skull.
Actually, Trevor is not that broken up about that, especially after his parents (Chip Zein and Laraine Newman) come to the last place where their son was alive at before he died.
However, this is where the sad news kicks in. Trevor finds out his parents got divorced, and he thinks his death is why it happened. So he asks Jay and Sam (Rose McIver) to get his parents back together. Therefore, they decided to throw him a memorial service, and Tara Reid, his celebrity crush, shows up to pay her respect. What does she say about the man that she spent some time with when he was alive?
Oh wait, you want to know if his parents get back together? I am not going to tell you that. I am just going to say to you I haven’t stopped speaking Yiddish since I watched this meshugana episode. Oy! It’s like the perfect schmear of cream cheese on a NY bagel! Plus, Grodman gives a performance that will give any bubbie naches!
Tonight at 8:30p on CBS, Freddie (Mike Lane) is convinced that Woodstone Manor is haunted on Ghosts. So, he tells his bosses, Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) that, and he brings some equipment to the bed and breakfast to get rid of the ghosts.
Well, Trevor (Asher Grodman), Pete (Richie Moriarty), Flower (Sheila Carrasco), Alberta (Danielle Pinnock), Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky), Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones), and Thor (Devan Chandler Long) like playing with the new toys. So, they decide to see what the Ghost Trap 2000 can do.
They find out it traps spirits, and it traps at least one of them. Will they get out? All I will tell you is we say goodbye to a ghost tonight.
You might’ve noticed that there was a ghost missing from above, and you were right. Sass (Román Zaragoza) is busy getting it on with the car ghost Jessica (Nichole Sakura). You can say he misses the action because he is finally getting some action. Bow chicka, wow, wow!
Once again, Ghosts delivers another episode that you just want to hug. It is hard not to love this series. So why are you avoiding it like you would a ghost? These ghosts are not scary; they are lovable. So fall in love with them tonight.
Ghosts is broadcast television’s #1 comedy (because it is so charming and funny), so it makes sense that CBS picked up the show for a third season!
“This season, executive producers Joe Port, Joe Wiseman and the brilliant cast delivered episodes that far surpassed our expectations. From the opening of the Woodstone B&B to epic Halloween and Christmas episodes, we have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know our GHOSTS even better. Much like our viewers, we love them more each and every week,” said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment. “As the series continues to win fans on broadcast and streaming, we’re thrilled to bring back this touching and hilarious comedy for a third season.”
Before we get to the third season, we need to finish the second one. So tonight, at 8:30p, we are getting a new episode, and Trevor (Asher Grodman) and Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky) talk about their Christmas tryst. Will their love affair continue?
Talking about affairs, Sass (Román Zaragoza) and car ghost Jessica (Nichole Sakura) are getting to know each other, and things are going well until Sass messes it up.
He is not the only one messing up. Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay’s (Utkarsh Ambudkar) assistant Freddie (Mike Lane), has created a new computer program for Woodstone Manor that helps with reservations. But when it malfunctions, it causes the bed and breakfast to be overbooked. Was it his fault?
Finally, in past episodes, we have met Pete (Richie Moriarty) and Thor’s (Devan Chandler Long) sons, and tonight we meet Hetty’s.
So, in conclusion, tonight’s episode is full of love, just like we are full of love with Ghosts!
