It is St. Patrick’s Day on Ghosts tonight at 8:30p on CBS, and that means that Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky) is visible by the living for the day.
What will the Victorian maiden do with her 24-hour ability? She is going to use it to go on a date with a man. However, she is very limited in who she can go out with.
Luckily, she gets a man to say yes, and she convinces him to meet her at Jay’s (Utkarsh Ambudkar) restaurant. But he doesn’t show up, and she takes it out on the waiter. He gets so upset about what she said that he quits.
Now Jay is down a server, and he has a very important guest coming to the restaurant. Thus, he needs another server, and Hetty steps up to do the job. What could go wrong? It can’t be any worse than a skydiving male stripper falling through the roof, or could it be?
That is not all. Sam (Rose McIver) has to go out of town for a baby shower, and that means that Kyle (Ben Feldman) is back to help Jay out with the Ghosts. The Ghosts are loving that so much so that they are going to try to fix him up with Jay’s sister, Bela (Punam Patel).
Will they get lucky?
Whether they do or not, we are the lucky ones because Ghosts is always enjoyable to watch.
Tonight at 9p, Ghosts airs a one-hour special episode that asks: what if Sam (Rose McIver) saw Ghosts?
In the real world, we never would have gotten the series. But what about the one we watch on CBS?
Sam is asked to appear on television to promote her and Isaac’s (Brandon Scott Jones) book. What could go wrong?
Thor (Devan Chandler Long) decides to give Flower (Sheila Carrasco) the present of being able to possess Sam so that she could get rid of the cravings for munchies, which she has had since she died 50 years ago.
How sweet? That is, until he does it right before the interview, and Flower won’t leave Sam’s body. Thus, causing the interview to go to crap.
Sam gets so mad that she wishes she had never been able to see Ghosts, and Carol (Caroline Aaron) comes back after being sucked up to grant Sam’s wish.
How does her wish change things for her? And how does it change things for Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar), Thor, Sass (Román Zaragoza), Isaac, Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky), Alberta (Danielle Pinnock), Flower, Pete (Richie Moriarty), and Trevor (Asher Grodman)?
You will have to tune in for my favorite version of It’s a Wonderful Life I have seen since the original movie.
Oh, and did I mention be prepared for some of the most interesting couples we have seen on the series in five seasons? Even I gasped more than once. However, not as loud as the cliffhanger! I can’t wait to see what happens in the next episode.
Iain Armitage is returning to CBS for the first time in almost two years, or since Young Sheldon ended, but it is not going to be on Georgie and Maddie’s First Marriage.
Instead, the actor will be playing a heightened version of himself on Ghosts, according to Variety. The trade added that he will be part of a high-stakes poker game at Woodstone Manor.
The episode is expected to air on April 16th.
UPDATE: Ghosts confirmed his guest appearance, and wrote, “He’s living every ghostie’s dream— one of our biggest fans, @iain, is coming to Woodstone! We couldn’t be happier to have him ”
Tonight on Ghosts at 8:30p on CBS, Sam (Rose McIver) leaves her husband, Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar), alone with the Ghosts.
Since Jay can’t hear or see them, Trevor (Asher Grodman), Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky), Alberta (Danielle Pinnock), Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones), Sass (Román Zaragoza), and Thor (Devan Chandler Long) give Sam a list of things for him to do while she is gone.
As soon as she leaves with Pete (Richie Moriarty) to go to Chicago to talk about the book she wrote with Isaac, Jay decides to ignore the list.
The Ghosts are not happy about that, so they reach out to Kyle (Ben Feldman), the man who can also see Ghosts, to come for a visit and do what Jay won’t.
Why is that so bad? Because Kyle tried to kiss Sam, and now Jay hates him. What will happen when he shows up? You are not going to want to miss it.
Although Sam might miss Thanksgiving when her plane back from Chicago is cancelled. Thus, giving Kyle and Jay more time to be alone. Fun and funny!
On the last season of Ghosts, Trevor (Asher Grodman) found out he has a daughter, Abby (Gideon Adlon), whom he didn’t know about. Tonight at 8:30p on CBS, he convinces Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) to hire her at the restaurant.
Abby is reluctant to take the job because she thinks Sam is crazy because Trevor texted Abby from Sam’s phone, saying that he is her father. However, she agrees to take the job because she needs one.
How will Sam and Jay screw it up because of Trevor? You will have to tune in to see.
That, and to see what makes Flower (Sheila Carrasco) smart. That is right, she becomes coherent for the first time since the show debuted.
And lastly, you have to watch until the end to see which upstairs Ghost is going to move downstairs.
It is another fun episode of Ghosts, which makes me so happy it won’t be going anywhere for a few more seasons.
