Tomorrow night at 8p, you will be singing the praises of Galavant from the rooftops. Before you can even come down off the rooftop after watching the series premiere, it is time for the second episode at 8:30p. This time, John Stamos guest stars on the show and plays a role he has never done before. A role you would think he was born to play, even though the character’s name is like that of another famous actor. Kristin Newman, writer for the musical fairytale comedy, explained on Twitter today, “So, we named a character Jean Hamm, hoping to cast Jon Hamm. We got John Stamos, but still named him Jean Hamm.” They might not have been able to get the mad men, but they got a man that drives all the women mad! Just wait until you see him as a Knight in Shining Armour! Seriously, I don’t know what they did to Uncle Jesse; but not only is this the best I have ever seen him act, it is also the best I’ve ever seen him look!
So make sure to tune in for the best new show of the season, I promise you will not be disappointed!
I never been one of those people who has a fear of clowns, but that has all changed after seeing Timothy Omundson as a one of them. The Psych detective added this to the photo, “I don’t get why people are so creeped out. It’s just a clown in his car, giving out candy to kids he doesn’t know. Why is that so weird?” I think we all know why it weird, right?
Even though this look gave me nightmares, his new show on ABC Galavant gives me sweet sweet dreams. You will understand why when ABC finally airs this musical fairytale for adults!
Galavant, my favorite new show of the season doesn’t even have a premiere date yet, but that hasn’t stop actors from lining up to be on the musical fairytale. John Stamos was the first one to guest star, followed by Weird Al Yankovic and now Ricky Gervais is taping his appearance for it. Klikkonthis Instagrammed these photos of him in and out of his costume on the set and what a difference some hair and middle ages attire make on him. So what is his role on it? He is going to an odd wizard named Xanax. A role he was born to play.
I love that even though Galavant doesn’t have a premiere date, it has better guest stars on it than the shows that do. Well-deserved for a show that adults can enjoy as kids, even though young kids shouldn’t watch it without adults.
UPDATE: Timothy Omundson who plays King Arthur on Galvant, shared this infectiously sweet photo of himself with his smiley guest star, Ricky Gervais, and I am even more excited for the show.
As if I needed another reason to love my favorite new show of the year, they give yet another one. First, they created a musical fairytale that we can all enjoy. Then the ABC show cast John Stamos as Galavant’s rival. And now today, Joshua Sassee, who plays the lead role, Tweeted the above photo and said, “You try working with weird Al Yankovic and keep a straight face. I dare you. @alyankovic #Galavant”
That’s right, Weird Al Yankovic follows up his first #1 album and Emmy performance, by playing a Monk on the show according to klikkonthis. That is some heavenly news! Amen!
I seriously can’t wait for you to see the show that I’ve been singing the praises about since I first saw it. It truly is something to sing about.
UPDATE: Karen David, who plays Princess Isabella, gave this update on Facebook, “4:40am. The eyelids are heavy…never thought I’d say this, but I’m looking forward to being in a confessional booth…with the very lovely, Weird Al Yankovic!” Can you imagine being trapped in a confessional with the Schlock Rocker? Actually I can, and I am so jealous of David.

John Stamos is playing a Knight on ABC’s musical fairytale, Galavant, and EP Dan Fogelman shared a picture of him on the set in his costume. On the other hand, should I say in the process of being dressed in his costume because it looks like he needed a lot of help with the pants. The Knight in Shining Armour was a damsel in distress, as he needed not one, not two, not three, but four people to help with the bottom part of his suit.
What is my takeaway from this photo? How do I get a job like this because I have always wanted to get into his pants? I mean it is a tough job, but at least four people had to do it. So why not me???
Seriously, these photos from the set of Galavant are making even more excited for my favorite new show of the season. Aren’t they get you in the mood?
