Bob Saget’s best friends are roasting him on Netflix
June 9th, 2022 under Full House, Netflix. [ Comments: none ]

On January 9th, Bob Saget passed away suddenly from a head injury. Netflix wanted to honor the comedian, so they called up his best friends who were already doing that.

On June 10th, John Stamos, Jeff Ross, Chris Rock, Jim Carrey, John Mayer, Darren Criss, Kelly Rizzo-Saget, Mike Binder, Jackson Browne, Seth Green, Mike Young, Michael Keaton, Candace Cameron Bure, Dave Coulier, Dave Chappelle, Tim Allen, Paul Rodriguez, Jon Lovitz, and his daughters Lara and Aubrey Saget will roast him in Dirty Daddy: A Tribute to Bob Saget.

While they might not be saying the most positive things about the Full House dad, I think we can all agree that is how he would’ve wanted it.

Will the third time be the charm for Jodie Sweeten?
January 17th, 2022 under Full House, Jodie Sweetin. [ Comments: 4 ]

2022 has been full ups and down for Jodie Sweeten, and the new year isn’t even three weeks old. The year started off with her losing Bob Saget, a man who was like her father to her.

Then, Mescal Wasilewski, her boyfriend of almost three years, asked her to marry him, and she said yes. The Full House star wrote this with the photo, “I love you Mescal, for always. You’re my person. I can’t wait to see the life that lies ahead for us. Here’s to us, @ghostfacelito and our life of adventures. Together.”

Their next adventure is her 40th birthday on Wednesday.

This will be her third marriage. She was previously married to Cody Herpin and Morty Coyle, and she has a daughter from each man. Hopefully, her third wedding will be the charm.

Before we got to know Bob Saget as the geeky Danny Tanner on Full House, he was a college nerd in Greatest American Hero. You can see young Tanner in the 26-year-old’s performance in that 1983 episode.

Before Bob Saget made us laugh, he had to make contestants like Tiny Tim laugh on Make Me Laugh. Even when he was just 22 in that 1979 episode, he was the funniest comedian of them all.

RIP Bob Saget
January 9th, 2022 under Comedy Central Roast of Bob Saget, Full House, Obits. [ Comments: 8 ]

Bob Saget was found dead today at the age of 65. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Florida says there are “no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.”

Saget was known as America’s Dad because he played Danny Tanner on Full House. During that decade, he also hosted the G-rated America’s Funniest Videos. While he played wholesome on television, his comedy act was anything but that.

In fact, he got his start as Bosom Buddies’ Warm-up comedian and made his television debut on the sitcom that was produced by the people who did Full House. And the rest is showbiz history.

Besides making us laugh, he spent a lot of time as a philanthropist. His biggest cause was the Scleroderma Research Foundation. His sister, Gay, died from the autoimmune disease at 47. He spent 30 years working to get the word out about it and raising money for research for the debilitating disease that also killed my mother. For that, I am grateful to Saget. And I am grateful I was able to tell him that.

Saget would want to be remembered with laughter, so go ahead do it. Watch him do what he does best, whether it is safe for work or so not safe for work.

His final Instagram post said just that. To read it, then click here!
