The cast of Free Agents are now free agents!
October 6th, 2011 under Fox. [ Comments: 2 ]

NBC has decided to pull the plug on the unfunny comedy Free Agents that stars Hank Azaria and Anthony Head. Really not much more to say because the show was never worth talking about in the first place. I mean I found it so blah, I couldn’t even write a review for it.
But what I did write was a letter to Hank Azaria saying I would watch if he took the pay cut on his other show The Simpsons. As of yet there is no word if his fellow cast members and him have agreed to make $250,000 an episode as compared to the $440,000. Just how many people would love jobs that pay a a 10th of what they make for one episode as a year’s salary. A-freaking-lot.
Well anyways back to The Simpsons’ negotiations according to The Wrap, the cast has to make a decision for a pay cut by tomorrow if they want another season of the show which will most likely be the show’s last. If they hold out for more money and don’t agree to the new salary, this the 23rd season, will be the last. If their greed ends the show, then I will not watch anything any of them ever do again. Although I don’t think that will be that hard to do because there is a reason why most of them heard and not seen!!!
Oh, I guess you can say that it looks like Hank lost two jobs in one day… You know while over 10% of America is begging for any job making just a fraction of what he makes.

Don’t you forget about how funny The Simpsons is!
October 4th, 2011 under Brat Pack, Fox, The Simpsons. [ Comments: none ]

The Simpsons is in its 23rd season and the show still makes me laugh! On Sunday’s (yes I am behind on my viewing) Superintendent Chalmers was in charge of The Breakfast Club and he went into the wrong room. That brilliant little flashback gives new meaning to “Just me. Just you and me. Two hits. Me hitting you. You hitting the floor. Anytime you’re ready, pal” and I am OK with that! C’mon admit you can’t stop watching it, just like you can’t watch stop watching the coming of age John Hughes movie we all aspired to be at least one of the characters! Who did you want to be?

The first new show to be picked up for the full season is…
September 28th, 2011 under Fox. [ Comments: none ]

The fall season is barely a week old and the first new show to get a full season pick up is New Girl. Fox made the decision today to ask for 11 more episodes after the adorkable comedy was #1 in the ratings with 18-49ers last night. The news is great for the sitcom world that was told two years ago it was dead!
What do you think of the Zooey Deschanel laugher?

Terra Nova is the most ambitious television show ever!
September 26th, 2011 under Fox. [ Comments: 1 ]

It is the year 2149, there is a population limit of two children, you can’t breath the air, fresh fruit is an rarity and there is no sunshine anymore. So if given the opportunity to have as many kids as you want, breathe fresh air, eat fresh fruit and see sunlight, you would jump at the chance even if it meant going back 85 million years. Well that is what the new inhabitants of Terra Nova have done. The new utopia might not be as perfect at it seems because 85 million years ago there were dinosaurs walking the earth and they are not exactly welcoming of the new residences.
The people of 2149 now have to figure out a way to survive in their new time and protect their old one because the butterfly effect works both ways. Will they be able to find a way to change the future as they are stuck in the past? Tune in to Fox tonight at 8p for the most ambitious series even to roar on to television, and they succeed with their ambition. Besides the illusion of going back in time, Terra Nova gives us an adventure that will keep our interest for 85 million years at least!

Fringe is back, but what about Peter Bishop?
September 23rd, 2011 under Fox. [ Comments: none ]

The season premiere of Fringe is on Fox tonight at 9p and it picks up where the season finale left off. We find out what the show will be like without Peter Bishop, but does that mean he is gone? In tonight’s episode you will find out how the world has changed without Walter/nate’s son and it is all really interesting. I don’t want to tell you any more because Fringe is a show you need to experience and watch so we can keep it on the air!!!
