Two struggling freshman drama series, NBC’s "Friday Night Lights" and Fox’s "Standoff," have received additional script orders. NBC has ordered two more scripts of the high school football drama "Lights," while Fox has picked up three additional scripts from the hostage-negotiator drama "Standoff." Fox recently ordered three scripts for another newcomer, "Justice."

I am blown away about FNL because that show is doing really badly in the ratings. And I am so happy that Ron Livingston’s show got additional scripts!

Chad Lowe has signed on to appear in several episodes of Fox’s Emmy-winning drama "24." Lowe will recur on "24" as Reed Pollock, a "savvy politico" based in the White House. Lowe joins "24" — which scored the Emmy for outstanding drama — several episodes after the show’s sixth-season launch. Lowe joins previously announced "24" newcomers including Peter MacNicol and Regina King. Lowe recently made his feature film directorial debut with "Beautiful Ohio," which will screen at the AFI festival. He hosted and exec produced the AMC skein "Celebrity Charades," starred in the Hallmark Channel telepic "Fielder’s Choice" and guested on skeins "Medium," "Without a Trace" and "CSI: Miami."

Fox’s Justice gets some on Mondays while Vanished vanishes to Fridays
October 4th, 2006 under Axl Rose, Fox. [ Comments: none ]

Two of Fox’s struggling new shows, "Justice" and "Vanished," will move to new time slots when they return after this month’s postseason baseball break, sources said. Legal drama "Justice," which currently airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m., will replace the missing-persons saga "Vanished" in the Monday 9 p.m. slot behind "Prison Break" as of October 23. "Vanished" will air in the Friday 8 p.m. berth that week. Fox has been airing repeats in that slot. A reality show is expected to replace "Justice" on Wednesday.

Fox puts shows on Fridays to die. Only one show has survived on Fridays, but it was moved to Sundays. Can you guess what show I am talking about?
I guess they realized with no Gale Harold they were going to lose a lot of viewers?
