Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, and you know what that means. Men all over the country are going to get down on one and ask the person they love to marry them.

Well, Red Robin wants to make it more special for one couple. All you have to do is propose to your sweetheart at one of their restaurants between today and February 19th with an onion ring from their Towering Onion Rings (not mandatory), and that fried vegetable could turn into a diamond ring up to $10,000.

After she or he says yes, upload the video or photo of the proposal to Red Robin (and to read the other rules), and you will be entered for a ring that will dazzle your grandchildren with a story to match.

“Red Robin fans love our Towering Onion Rings®, so we decided to turn that love into something more permanent for a pair of lovebirds this Valentine’s Day,” said GJ Hart, president and CEO of Red Robin. “With many couples choosing to select their engagement rings together, what better way to say, ‘I do’ than with an onion ring, followed by the excitement of picking out your forever ring together?”

If you are already married or not ready to get married, then take your Lovebird to the burger joint and mention to your server that you want the Lovebird Combo between now and Saturday. For $34.99, you get a choice of two select burgers: Red Robin Gourmet Cheeseburger, Bacon Cheeseburger, Banzai Burger, or Whiskey River BBQ Chicken Sandwich, two bottomless sides, and Lemon Cream Layer Cake.

Hopefully, your engagement won’t be sour like the lemon dessert. Better yet, may your big day not turn into a Red Wedding like the one they had in Game of Thrones.

Congrats to all the couples that get betrothed on February 14th!

Get a free cup of coffee from Starbucks on Monday
February 7th, 2025 under Fast Food, Super Bowl. [ Comments: none ]

Nearly a third of the country is going to stay up late on Sunday night to watch the Super Bowl, which means they are going to wake up tired on Monday.

Therefore, they are going to need a pick me up, and Starbucks has their backs. The coffee shop is giving away a free tall hot or iced brewed coffee.

All you have to do is download their app, become a Rewards member by 11:59p on February 9th, and then apply the Starbucks Monday coupon to your order. After you have done all of that, go to a Starbucks of your choice and pick up your coffee!

If you also had too much alcohol to drink during the big game, then go to Carl’s Jr. and get your free Hangover Burger.

I wonder, who else will be giving away free food on Monday? Because I will need dessert to go with my iced coffee and burger.

Carl’s Jr. is giving out a free hangover burger on February 10th!
February 3rd, 2025 under Fast Food. [ Comments: none ]

Let’s be honest. A lot of people are going to be drinking on Super Bowl Sunday. And that means they are going to wake up hungover the next day.

What is the best cure for a hangover? Besides more alcohol. Grease! Lots and lots of grease. You will be able to get it for free at Carl’s Jr.

The Hangover Burger is insanely craveable, with a charbroiled beef burger, folded egg, plenty of bacon, melty Swiss cheese, crispy hash rounds, and special sauce on a seeded bun.

All you have to do is download the fast food restaurant’s app, join their rewards program, and order it on Monday. However, it is one per person. Although, I think if you eat more than one in a day, you will wind up in the end zone. As in the hospital with a heart attack.

End Dry January with a free Slurpee from 7-Eleven
January 31st, 2025 under Fast Food. [ Comments: none ]

A lot of people spent January not drinking drinks that are only for those over 21+, and the month seemed like it went on forever. Since they remained alcohol-free, they can celebrate their accomplishment by drinking a free small Slurpee from 7-Eleven today.

And you don’t have to be over 21 to celebrate. Because everyone feels like January is the longest month of the year.

“We know that every year, the long days of January can feel like the month will never come to an end – and this year has been no different,” says Dennis Phelps, Senior Vice President, Merchandising (Vault & Proprietary Beverages). “We’re giving our customers a sweet and refreshing surprise because whether you’re in the mood to grab a Slurpee drink or another fan-favorite product, 7-Eleven is here to help add a little joy to everyone’s day and shift your vibe for the rest of the year.”

I don’t know about you, but I am going to seven 7-Elevens to get a full Slurpee today. At least it will bring me two days of happiness until Punxsutawney Phil spoils my joy by telling me we are going to get six more weeks of winter.

No more free ride at Starbucks
January 14th, 2025 under Fast Food. [ Comments: 1 ]

For the last few years, Starbucks has had an open-door policy. That meant that you were able to sit in the coffee shop or use the bathroom without purchasing anything. But that will no longer be the case starting on January 27th.

Starbucks now says, “We want to ensure our spaces are prioritized for use by our customers. Our Coffeehouse Code of Conduct is something most retailers have and is designed to provide clarity that our spaces – including our cafes, patios and restrooms – are for use by customers and partners.”

So, if you want to use the wireless or toilet for free, that is no longer the case. You are going to have to order something in order to use their facilities.

“We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable in our stores,” Starbucks spokesperson Jaci Anderson said. “By setting clear expectations for behavior and use of our spaces, we can create a better environment for everyone.”

Well, everyone who pays!
