Over 60 couples made a run to Taco Bell to get married!
July 3rd, 2018 under Fast Food, Weddings. [ Comments: none ]

A year ago, Taco Bell started performing weddings at their Las Vegas restaraunt. Since then 60 couples have said I do with many more planning to do the same.

It is such a huge success that they are expanding their chapel so that the bride and groom can invite even more of their friends and family to enjoy their special day with them. Because who does not want to go to the Chapel of Taco Bell?

For $600, I would do it. What do you get for that package? You get a sauce packet garter and bow tie, Just Married T-shirts, champagne flutes, a Cinnabon Delights cake, Taco 12 Pack and a sauce packet bouquet. You also get to invite 15 people to witness the 30-minute ceremony. Who needs an Elvis impersonator presiding over the big event, when you can have all of this?

It is a wedding you soon won’t forget!

Just when you thought the Burger King could not get any more creepier…

Burger King and Budweiser teamed up to create the American Brewhouse King Sandwich. The burger is made up of two savory flame-grilled beef patties totaling more than ¼ lb. of beef, topped with 3 half-strips of thick-cut smoked bacon, crispy onions, tavern sauce, American cheese and creamy mayonnaise all on our sesame seed bun.

If two corporations are going to join together to make a hamburger, then they are going to have to do a commercial that incorporates both companies to promote it. So that is what they did. The beer company took their ’90s iconic Whassup commercial and incorporated the fast food mascot in it. For you youngins, after the actors say “Whassup,” they stick out their tongue. As did the creepy Burger King and I am so grossed out by it. My nightmares will be haunted by that image. So much so, I am not sure I want to try that cheeseburger. Who am I kidding of course I do?

The b in IHOb stand for…
June 11th, 2018 under Fast Food. [ Comments: none ]

Last week, International House of Pancakes announced that they were changing their name to IHOb after 60 years, and today they revealed that it stands for, dum dum dum, burgers.

This morning they launched 7 new steakburgers and in honor of the Black Angus ground beef being smashed on the grill to sear in the juices and flavor before being topped with premium ingredients and sandwiched between a buttered and grilled Brioche bun, they changed the name from IHOP to IHOb.

Chef Nevielle Panthaky, Head of Culinary at IHOb said, “The IHOP Culinary team took the creation of these Steakburgers as seriously as we take innovation around our pancakes, which means they’re soon to become world famous, too.”

On that note, they will still be serving pancakes, so do not freak out just yet. Also just like how you can order pancakes 24-hours a day, the same is true for the burgers. Which for me is a good thing because I am not a breakfast person.

Personally, I am bummed that they did not go with breakfast because that is what they are most known for and makes the most sense. But then again I love burgers! I love them medium rare with blood dripping out of them.

So what are the lucky 7 new burgers? To find out, then click here!

IHOP will announce its new name on Monday!
June 7th, 2018 under Fast Food. [ Comments: none ]

On Tuesday, IHOP announced that they were turning the P upside down to be a b, but they did not tell us what that is all about. Today, the International House of Pancakes revealed that all will be explained on Monday. So we have to wait four flipping days to find out what they are changing their name to after 60 years.

What do you think the b stands for? I think it is for breakfast but wish it was for bitches! Because that is an international house made especially for me.

Although, ever since OB tampons said the last two letters of IHOb look like their logo that is all I can see. Do you see it too?

Here is something I have to get off of my chest about this company. The original IHOP restaurant is in the town that I live in, and they sold the building decades ago. Well for over a year now that building has remained empty. To me, I do not understand why they do not buy it and turn it into a restaurant-museum dedicated to their legacy. Even though it is across the street from the original Bob’s Big Boy, I still think that tourists would go there to eat. I say, tourists, because you know Californians, we do not eat unhealthily!

Is this one of Burger King’s dumbest promotions?

Remember when Burger King came up with the Halloween Whopper and it turned your poop green? Well, they are doing something almost as weird and less damaging to your poo for National Donut Day. On June 1st only, they are going to put a hole in their signature sandwich and call it a Donut Whoppper. They do not want you to feel shortchanged so they are going to give you a free mini slider to go with your hamburger.

Do you think that sounds good enough to try? To me no, especially since I thought the bun was going to be a real donut since hamburger doughnuts are a real thing. If you are tempted to take a bite of it, then hope you live near one of the five restaurants that are taking part in the promotion. Who knows if it is a success, maybe they will make it a year-round thing?
