B.J.’s Restaurant’s April Fool’s Day Pizookie
March 23rd, 2026 under Fast Food. [ Comments: none ]

We are a week and a half away from April 1st, and B.J.’s Restaurant announced how they are celebrating the day. For one day only, you can order a Sweet Heat Pepperoni Pizookie for $4.01. The sweet and spicy treat starts with BJ’s classic warm Chocolate Chunk Pizookie® base, then topped with two scoops of Rich Vanilla Bean ice cream, crispy cup-and-char pepperoni, and the cherry on top is a drizzle of Mike’s Hot Honey.

“We’ve always believed that great ideas can come from unexpected places,” said Heidi Rogers, Chief Marketing Officer at BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. “The Sweet Heat Pepperoni Pizookie® is our most fearless creation yet, bringing together the warm comfort of our world famous Pizookie® with flavors inspired by our revamped pizza. It’s creative, intentional, and fun—and April Fool’s Day felt like the perfect moment to launch this.”

This is the third April Fool’s Day in a row that they have tricked their customers. In 2024, they served the Pizickle Pizookie®, which was topped with dill pickle slices. A year later, they upped the game with the Fryckle Pizookie®, which was covered with fried pickles.

April 1st is my birthday, and now I know where I am going for lunch! Who wants to come with me?

Carl’s Jr. is getting saucy!
March 18th, 2026 under Fast Food. [ Comments: none ]

Carl’s Jr. is bringing fan favorite flavors into a dipping sauce lineup.

If you are like me, then you like to dip fries in anything but ketchup. So you ask the restaurant for a sauce packet.

Well, Carl’s Jr. has some spicy news for us. Coming next month, they are adding four new sauces to their menu.

They are not exactly new; three are coming from some of their popular sandwiches and burgers.

  • Diablo Habanero Ranch from the El Diablo Burger
  • Santa Fe from the Charbroiled Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich
  • Western Barbecue from the Western Bacon Cheeseburger
  • NEW! Garlic Parmesan features a creamy, herby and cheesy flavor profile
  • IMPROVED! Heinz Ranch brings a cool and tangy dipping experience to any menu item

“Our goal with introducing these sauces is to blend traditional, delicious flavors with a new way to customize the meals our fans love,” said Romero. “People are always talking about how much they love the sauces on our burgers [and sandwiches], so we’re excited to expand them into our Hand-Breaded Chicken lineup and see the different ways people dip and devour these new flavor combinations.”

What took a fast food restaurant so long to figure this out? Imagine how successful McDonald’s would be if they offered a side of Big Mac sauce.

The sauces will be available on April 8th. Which one are you going to try first?

Have you ever tried this wing hack?
March 17th, 2026 under Fast Food. [ Comments: none ]

Do you prefer wings with bones but hate dealing with the bones? There is a hack you can try to remove the bones and just get the meat.

What is it? You put the wing in your mouth and then pull the bones out, one from each end. Then all you have to deal with is the chicken and not the bones.

Want to try it? You can go to Wing Stop and try one of their 14 sauces on them. I am off to get some and try the hack.

Have you ever wanted to drink a Hostess cupcake?
March 11th, 2026 under Fast Food. [ Comments: none ]

Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved Hostess cupcakes. There was nothing better than drinking cold milk and eating one with it. But I never thought of combining the two. I don’t know why, but I just didn’t.

However, someone at Johnny Rockets did, and now you can order a Hostess Cupcake Shake. The milkshake is made with creamy chocolate ice cream, a rich swirl of chocolate syrup, topped with real whipped cream, and finished with a signature Hostess Cupcake on top.

Just like a starlet, I am going to Hollywood, because that is the closest Johnny Rockets to me, to try one…even though I am lactose intolerant. It will be worth it.

And don’t wait too long to try one because they are only available until April 30th.
