Joan Rivers had a problem with this year’s Emmys!
September 20th, 2011 under Emmys. [ Comments: none ]

Here’s a shocker Joan Rivers has a problem with the way the actresses dressed on Sunday at the Emmys, but it is not what you think. The woman that some celebs didn’t want on the red carpet Tweeted this, “MEMO TO ALL TV ACTRESSES: Please start dressing like shit at next year’s Emmys or I’ll have nothing to talk about. Thank you!” You know what she is right, except for Heidi Klum all the actresses looked beautiful on the big night and as we know that makes her job very difficult. Personally I hope they don’t listen to her because I liked being envious of all of their dresses and not laughing at the stupid frilly thing they draped on their body. Seriously wasn’t it nice that there wasn’t really a bad dress in the bunch for once?

Tonight’s big winner was television because there were so many new comers that so richly deserved their Emmy statuette. The biggest and best surprise were the comedies! Congrats to Modern Family, Eric Stonestreet, Steve Levitan, Glee, Jane Lynch and Jim Parsons for winning the Emmys they earned for excellence. Thank you to Modern Family for really reviving sitcoms, Steve and Christopher Lloyd (not the Taxi one) for your great show and I am so happy Emmys recognized you! About time Jane Lynch won because she has been one of the most underrated actresses until Glee, she has always stolen the show no matter which one it is! Another big winner, thanks to the comedies, was broadcast television. Except for Edie Falco in Showtime’s Nurse Betty all the winners were on broadcast TV. In drama only CBS’ Archie Panjabi for The Good Wife could say that. HBO dominated the movies’ section, but who really cares about those?
I have to admit, I can’t really complain about this year’s Emmy. Jimmy Fallon also did a good job, largely because that opening numbers was so freaking awesome!
Now when it comes to two big losers tonight The Amazing Race and 30 Rock, I wonder if they are sh!tting a brick that this season will be their last because without Emmy gold to claim as their own this own…will their networks decide that this will be their end? I personally think their Emmys is what has kept them on the air. You know kind of like Ugly Betty, the year that America Fererra wasn’t nominated again (even though she never deserved any of them), the show was axed from ABC’s line up.

So this is how Jimmy Fallon got to host the Emmys?
August 29th, 2010 under Emmys, Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: 1 ]

I have been wondering how Jimmy Fallon got the coveted spot of hosting the Emmys and it looks like we know how? The Late Night host Tweeted this picture of him with Emmy in what looks like a compromising position. Poor Emmy if she saw him in his skin tight winter Olympic body suit, she would’ve held out for Stephen Colbert who really could fill out the suit.
BTW actually I understood why he got the job after I saw him on the America’s Got Talent on Wednesday, he really impress the sh!t out of me!

Who did Matthew Morrison sleep with to sit next to Betty White?
August 26th, 2010 under Betty White, Emmys, Glee. [ Comments: none ]

WireImage
Out of all the cast members from Glee that I would think they would sit next to Betty White, Matthew Morrison was no where near the top of my list. I would’ve liked to have seen her sitting next to Jane Lynch because I love both funny ladies and as we the viewers watch the telecast we can only imagine what the two talented actresses would be saying about everyone else in the room. But now we won’t be able to picture that because she is sitting next to Mr Schue instead and he just doesn’t scream funny and warm to me. I could be wrong, but he is not someone I think deserves that prime seat. They should have given that seat to Neil Patrick Harris, who along with the Golden Girl, won Emmys this weekend for their guest starring roles. NPH won for Glee (which I say is a travesty because that gold statuette should’ve gone to Mike O’Malley) and Miss White won for Saturday Night Live. Guess Facebook knows who is Emmy worthy!!!
