Seriously? OMG! WTF?

There’s a pallet of corn syrup on its way to South Carolina. The long-awaited sequel to Eli Roth’s aggressively silly but genially brilliant “Cabin Fever” is locked in for a January start date in the area, and we’ve been informed that casting begins this month. Scooper ‘Sandy’ tells us that auditions are taking place, and the breakdowns suggest that the film centres on a group of all-new characters. “Though I believe Robert Harris, who played Old Man Cadwell in the first film, has been signed to reprise his role, so there will be a link to the first film”. The studio wasn’t brave enough to forge ahead with Roth’s idea for a sequel – “My concept for the sequel was a Song of the South-style half-animated film where Deputy Winston sings songs (ones I was forced to learn in Hebrew school) to imaginary creatures in his head, and has sex with the burned, rotted corpses of everyone who died in the original, but they didn’t go for it” Roth said. – so from what I can gather, they’re heading into ‘rehash’ territory instead.

I so loved the first one! And DVD has the best special features, rent it I promise you will not be disappointed. G-d I would so love to work on this movie because I know it is going to be great!!!

I’m 2/3rd of the way through the shoot and I am so fucking psyched with how it’s coming along. I can’t give away any details right now but I think the fans of the first film are going to love it. I’ve just put up a photo that’s the first photo released from the set. One of my favorite movie stars of all time is the Italian actress/goddess Edwige Fenech, who had many, many hits in the 70’s and 80’s. She’s been retired from acting for ten years and is a big producer in Italy, as well as film distributor. I was fortunate enough to meet her back in February, and when I asked her if she’d ever return to the screen, she said she’d only do it for me or Quentin. I wrote a part for her in the film hoping she’d do it, and she kept her promise. It was an incredible thrill to get to direct her, and now her fans as well as a whole bunch of new fans will get to enjoy her performance. Look her up on IMDB and track down her DVDs through No Shame films. She made a number of comedies, as well as some fucking awesome Giallo films, like "The Strange Vice of Mrs. Wardh," and "Strip Nude for Your Killer." This photo is me directing her the first day of shooting. There are many more strange stories from the shoot that I’ll share at a later date, but thanks for all your comments and positive energy.

Cabin Fever is one of the best DVDs ever because of all the extra features on it! Ever since I rented the DVD, I have had a crush on Eli Roth’s work!
