Ed Sheeran was the latest celebrity to be sent to school on The Tonight Show and yesterday Jimmy Fallon, The Roots and him played his chart topping song Shape of You with classroom instruments. Giving the melody a lesson in fun. Not that it needed one, but since he is such a big kid it truly works.
Only thing is what does it mean when he sings that he loves the shape of your body while holding a banana?
Ed Sheeran just released the first ballad, third single, off of his new album that comes out next month, and we are going to hear How Would You Feel (Paean) at weddings from now on. Maybe even his own because he says that he is ready to propose to his girlfriend.
But back to song, his voice is made for making women swoon and I am swooning. If a man played that song for me, I would do whatever he wanted. Doesn’t it just turn you on?
After a year hiatus, Ed Sheeran is back in fighting shape. At least, that is what his video for the second song off his new album tells us. In Shape of You, you see the singer getting back into shape with the woman whose body he is in love with. Once he is ready, it is time to face his opponent who he doesn’t have a chance with. Will he pull a Rocky and win the match or will he be left on the floor? You just have to watch to find out! And you believe me, you don’t want to miss the ending.
Whether you grew up in the UK, US or USSR, we all had that group of friends when we were teens that will forever be part of your life. You would drink and smoke with them, experience your sexual firsts together and just share your angst with them. No matter how old we all get, you remember those times with a smile on your face and can’t wait to see them again. When you do it is like no time has passed.
That is what Ed Sheeran’s music video for his song Castle on the Hill depicts. The location might be different, but the memories are the same. Sit back and get ready to smile. Then grab your phone because you are going to want to call some old friends.

Ed Sheeran was on Capital FM and fan asked him to sing the theme song to her other love Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The DJ told him he didn’t have to do it, but before he could even finish saying that, the singer started playing his guitar. Instead of singing it as is, he gave the tune his own special touch. I never thought that song could be any better, but he found a way!
I know he announced that his 3rd album will come out on 3/3, but I hope there is still time to add this to the tracklist. It is the best song of his that I have heard since Shape of You and Castle on the Hill.
