Giuliana Rancic kisses E! News goodbye
July 8th, 2015 under E!. [ Comments: none ]

For over a decade Giuliana Rancic has hosted E! News and come on August 10th that will no longer be the case. She is exiting the show, but not the network. Even though we won’t see her on a daily basis, she will still be part of Awards season with Live on the Red Carpet and Fashion Emergency.
All I have to say it is about time and a really good start. I for one won’t miss her. Will you?
When it comes to her replacement, they haven’t announced that person yet. I am hoping they give it to Zendaya. How smoking would that be?

Botched is back and they make people look better than ever!

Botched is back on E! tonight at 9p for its second season and they are helping to fix what other plastic surgeons and people who claimed that they were wronged.
VH1 reality star New York is on tonight and she wants to fix her oversized sagging fake boobs and her leaky nose. When Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif are done with her, Flavor Flav will want to make time for her.
The next case is a woman who suffered such severe burns on her chin, that she needed a new one. The doctor who gave her the new one made it too big and her face became boxed shape. The doctors have to work their magic to make her face round again. Will they be able to do it?
Then the last case, is a really tough one. A post-op woman comes in after some scary plastic surgery and asks the doctors to help her. The fly by night person she went to, inserted cement into her face and now it is deformed. Her boobs are so huge, her nipples can’t even be seen because so much skin is over them. It is such a tough case, the doctors don’t know if they can operate on her. Will they be able to make her botched work disappear? You don’t want to miss what happens next.
Actually you don’t want to miss Botched because this show is about so much more than botched plastic surgeries. It’s about bringing the beauty out of all of us. A beauty that shines through with both doctors. They don’t see the botched surgeries, instead they see the beautiful person under it and how they can make them feel comfortable in their own skin again.
BTW did I mention that next week they are working on a Baywatch Babe? Think you know who?

E! puts Fashion Police in a holding cell
March 17th, 2015 under E!. [ Comments: 1 ]

Fashion Police has had a tumultuous month since the Oscars, and today E! announced that they are putting the show on hold until September.
Guiliana Rancic told a stupid joke that enraged Kelly Osbourne so much so that she claims it made her decide to quit the show. A few weeks later, Kathy Griffin followed Osbourne out the door. After Griffin’s departure E! said the show would be back later this month, but now they are backtracking on that decision.
Here is their statement about the new air date:

E!’s comedy series “Fashion Police” is going on hiatus and will return in September. We look forward to taking this opportunity to refresh the show before the next awards season. Our talented co-hosts Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski, along with Executive Producer Melissa Rivers, will continue their roles as we evolve the show into its next chapter for the legions of “Fashion Police” fans around the world.

I think they do need to rework the show completely. It doesn’t need to be comedic fashion bashing show as it has been, instead it could be an honest look at celebrity fashion. It can be light and fun, and not be as hateful as it has been. I still wouldn’t watch, but maybe others would. Would you?

I do declare The Royals is royally awesome!
March 15th, 2015 under E!, Elizabeth Hurley. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Czt1A-9rvyE
If you think the real British Monarchy is fun to watch, they ain’t got nothing on the fake ones that make its grand entrance on E! tonight at 10p. The Royals is so bloody good, you will be bowing down to the show.
King Simon (Vincent Regan), is the King of England and he never really wanted the title. His wife is Queen Helena (Elizabeth Hurley) and she is a true Queen, a Queen B that is. She truly is the one who reigns over England and her dysfunctional family. Then there is their daughter Princess Elanor (Alexandra Park) and she is rebelling against her mom. She is so rebellious, the Tabloid Queen makes Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Kim Kardashian all look like angels. Her brother is Prince Liam (William Moseley) and he is a Playboy, who is second in line to be King.
That is until the day that his beloved brother mysteriously dies and now he is set to be the next King of England. When his mother hears the news about her late son, she immediately starts to groom Liam for the job. Only problem is that her husband wants to dissolve the Monarchy.
Helena eventually convinces her husband to stall his decision as she tries to clean up her family. Will she be able to do it?
While those are The Royals who are sitting on the throne, we also get to know the King’s brother and his two daughters. Prince Cyrus (Jake Maskall) always wanted to be King, but his brother was born first. Because of that he hates his brother. His two daughters (Lydia Rose Bewley and Hatty Preston) are like the dumbed-down naughty versions of Prince Andrew and Fergie’s daughters.
The Royals are not the British Royalty we know, but you will wish that they are. So get to know them tonight and every Sunday at 10p

Maybe it is time to just end Fashion Police?
March 13th, 2015 under E!. [ Comments: 1 ]

Weeks after Kelly Osbourne says she left Fashion Police over Guilana Rancic’s stupid joke, Kathy Griffin quit the show too. The red headed comedian wrote the most self-promoting resignation letter for the press and her fans and claims the show would not let her bring her “brand of humor.”
E! confirmed her departure and said the show would go on even with only half its panel.
I get they tried to keep Joan Rivers’ show alive, but I think it is time to end it. Would anyone really miss it?
