Simon LeBon came out to Paul McCartney’s show and I want to know what happened to him? I don’t know why the 52 year old singer grew that beard, but I hope he shaves it before Duran Duran releases their 13th studio album All You Need to Know on December 21st. Because if he promotes the album with that thing, I won’t be buying it.
Now having said he doesn’t look good with the beard, I think he looks great for his age!

Nick Rhodes was always my favorite in Duran Duran and now I know why! Seriously I can’t take my eyes off of the bulge in pants! I just can’t figure out if that is that a gun in his pocket or he is just happy to see me? What do you think? My friend think it is the latter.
5 months after Duran Duran’s John Taylor’s Samantha Who? episodes were suppose to air on ABC, they are finally seeing the light of TV starting tonight at 8p! Can I tell you I had the same reaction as Dena did when I met John Taylor! I was a Nick Rhodes girl until I met them and ever since it has been John Taylor all the way!!! He just gets better with age! Can you believe he just turned 49 on the 20th?
Thanks to Christina Applegate for Tweeting the shameless plug on Twitter. I am still so mad that ABC didn’t pick up this cute funny show.
Duran Duran’s John Taylor, will guest star on Samantha Who? starting on January 12th as well a rock star (a real stretch for him) who is dating Samantha. I wonder how much of a role Christina Applegate had in casting the hot Duraner on the show as her lover! I have heard that like me, she too is a huge Duranie!!! I guess you can say she did what she did to have him have him!!! And I can’t wait to have him on the ABC show!!!
For Simon’s 50th birthday, John, Nick and Roger gave him an unusual present. Inside the giant silver DJ box were 50 albums, one released in each of the years since Simon’s birth. The three of them argued long and hard about which choice was appropriate for each year, and of course, many years had several great albums known to be favourites of Simon’s, which made the task even harder. Over a period of several months they gathered the collection from far and wide, and although most were found in the US and the UK, the Cocteau Twins “Blue Bell Knoll” and Kraftwerk’s “Man Machine” were found by Nick and John on a shopping spree in Rimini, Italy!
When the gift was finally presented to Simon, he was actually visibly taken aback. The choices ranged from Elvis to Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, from David Bowie to Dr. Dre, but admittedly there is one Duran Duran album – they included “Rio” for the year 1982.
The Wild Boys of Duran Duran gave Simon LeBon a wonderful gift for his 50th birthday. Now I am going to go in to a corner and cry becasue I feel old.
