Beyoncé released her first Country album today, and there is a cover of Dolly Parton’s Jolene on Cowboy Carter.
We don’t know why Beyoncé chose that song in particular. But we do know that Parton has been wishing for that to happen for at least two years. And wishes do come true.
In 2022, Miss Dolly told Trevor Noah on The Daily Show, “I think she’s fantastic, beautiful, and I love her music. I would just love to hear Jolene done in just a big way, kind of like how Whitney [Houston] did to my I Will Always Love You to someone who can take my little songs and make them like powerhouses. So that would be a marvelous day in my life. If she ever does Jolene.”

CBS is going to the dogs with Dolly Parton on February 21st. The variety special will feature Lainey Wilson, Carly Pearce, Chris Janson and KC of KC and the Sunshine Band singing Parton’s songs like 9 to 5 and I Will Always Love You.
They will be joined by Iain Armitage, Drew Barrymore, Kristen Bell, Kristin Chenoweth, Margaret Cho, Neil Patrick Harris, Carson Kressley, Jim Nantz and Jessica Simpson.
However, the big draw for Dolly Parton’s Pet Gala is the Puppy Love we are going to have for the dogs modeling clothes from Doggy Parton!
“I have hosted or co-hosted many shows throughout my career, but I have never been more excited about co-hosting a show than I am about being part of this pet gala! I love animals. I’ve got all kinds, and of course, I’ve always had little dogs around, and big ones! We’re going to have some of all kinds and colors on the show, and there is nothing more fun to me than when little animals do what they do best, and I’m looking forward to it! There is so much fun stuff, and I know all the animal lovers out there are going to love this show,” said Dolly Parton.

Dolly Parton performed at the Halftime Show during the Dallas Cowboys game yesterday, and she dressed up as one of the cheerleaders.
She looked so good in that costume. I can’t believe she is 77, especially because she looks better in those Daisy Dukes than the girls who wear it full-time.
Dolly Parton is not shy, so she openly admits that she has gotten plastic surgery done. So when she was on Howard Stern’s radio show, he asked her how she stays looking so beautiful at 77 years young.
Her secret is going to the best doctors and doing it in moderation. For example, now she gets Botox and fillers to maintain her beauty, but only when she needs them.
Why? Because you never know how you are going to heal. Her good friend Kenny Rogers got a facelift, and to be honest, it messed up his face. She said he went to good doctors, but it just wasn’t right for his face. Although, as he got older, his skin loosened, and it looked more natural.
Miss Dolly even joked with her late friend and duet partner about it. She said she told him, “Kenny, I’m glad I lived long enough to see you grow into your facelift.”
Even though she jokes about it, she does worry every time she gets something done that, she will come out of it looking fine.
