Before Sarah Paulson played Marcia Cross in American Crime Story, she needed a lawyer like her on Law & Order. She looks the same now as she did when she was 19 in that 1994 episode.

Before Jeremy Allen White had an alcoholic mom on The Bear, his mom was a racist on Law & Order. He looks the same now as he did when he was 16 on that 2008 episode.

Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD come together tonight for a 3-hour event
January 29th, 2025 under Dick Wolf. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight, starting at 8p on NBC, Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD become One Chicago for a crossover episode.

Fire leads off the night when they get a call about an underground gas explosion at a highrise.

They rush into the building to save as many people as they can. When they arrive, Firehouse 51 splits up to rescue people in different parts of the building. They don’t have a lot of time because the building is at risk of collapsing.

Almost all of them get out. However, Lt. Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) and Officer Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) get trapped underground in a subway that derailed because of rubble from the explosion.

Ruzek is not the only PD member missing. So is Desk Sgt. Trudy Platt (Amy Morton). Even though the building is unstable, Mouch (Christian Stolte) and Hermann (David Eigenberg) go back in to look for her.

When they find her, she needs to be rushed to Chicago Med due to life-threatening injuries. That is when the medical drama takes over the three-hour event. They need to work on her and other injured victims from the explosion.

Not all the doctors are in the hospital. Dr. Archer (Steven Weber) and Dr. Frost (Darren Barnet) head out to the scene. Both will be important in different ways.

As lives are left in peril, Chicago PD has to investigate the source of the explosion. It turns out it was not an accident. Officer Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Sgt. Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) are on the case.

In the final hour, they will have to find out who did it and why. There is one victim with burns all over her body who can be the person who will be able to help them the most. However, Dr. Caitlin Lenox (Sarah Ramos) won’t let them talk to the woman who is intubated after a surgery to save her life.

Will they be able to get the information they need? You will have to tune in to find out.

I am not usually a fan of the Chicago One crossover events because I don’t watch Chicago PD. However, this one flowed so naturally it truly feels like one show for three hours and not three individual shows.

Whether you watch the Chicago first responders’ drama or not, this is an exciting three hours that anyone can enjoy watching.

Next week, Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD are coming together for a one-night event.

When a gas explosion rocks a high-rise, Chicago’s first responders come out in force to rescue hundreds of civilians. It’s the calamity beneath the surface, however, that sends our heroes on a race to save 40 people trapped deep underground, including two of their own.

Will anyone we know die? We will have to tune into One Chicago on Wednesday at 10p to find out in what looks like it will be a thrilling three-hour crossover event.

NBC and Dick Wolf had some big news to share about their three Chicago shows. On Wednesday, January 29th, Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago PD are a three-part crossover event. This is the first one since 2019, believe it or not.

“Putting together what is essentially a three-hour action movie is an incredibly ambitious task requiring complete coordination across our writers, casts, crews and producers, along with help from the city of Chicago,” said Anastasia Puglisi, Wolf Entertainment Executive Vice President and co-executive producer of the #OneChicago series. “We’re thrilled to have the best talent in every department to meet this challenge, reinforce the #OneChicago brand, and provide our fans with a unique and compelling viewing experience.”

What can fans expect from the three-hour movie? When a gas explosion rocks a high-rise, Chicago’s first responders come out in force to rescue hundreds of civilians. It’s the calamity beneath the surface, however, that sends our heroes on a race to save 40 people trapped deep underground, including two of their own.

As someone whose favorite movie genre is Disaster film, I cannot wait for the explosive One Chicago Night.
