Starting at 8p tonight, NBC is airing the final episodes for the season of the One Chicago shows. All of these shows had their seasons cut short because of Coronavirus. Therefore, they are not true season finales.

Chicago Med starts the night off with two cops from New Orleans investigating Dr. Marcel (Dominic Rains) for a murder in his old haunt. Natalie (Torrey DeVito) is convinced he didn’t do it. Will she be able to prove it, or did he really kill someone?

A man comes in with a needle in his heart, and he won’t let the doctors remove it. Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) is called in to do a psych evaluation on the man. What will he find out about this patient?

Finally, Dr. Choi (Brian Tee) goes out into the field to help out with a shooting victim inside a hostage situation. When the hostage-taker won’t come out, he goes in. Now, he is also being held against his will as he tries to save a little boy’s life.

When April (Yaya DaCosta) finds out what happened, she rushes to the scene to find out what is happening with her brand new ex. Will she get their too late to tell him how she really feels about him?

You have to tune in to find out because I am not going to tell you.

Then at 9p on Chicago Fire, they are called to put out a fire at a storage facility. When they get there, they realize that it is a chemical fire. The crew goes inside to put it out. While they are in, there is an explosion. When the smoke clears we find out at least one of the firefighters is severally injured.

Now, the uninjured firefighters make it their mission to shut this place down. How far will they go? You know our guys will go to great lengths when they want something to happen.

While they are dealing with all of that, someone is planning on leaving Firehouse 51? Who is leaving and where are they going?

You don’t want to miss a single second of this episode because it is the last one for the foreseeable future.

Tonight at 9p on NBC’s Chicago Fire, it is time for Cruz (Joe Minoso) to get married. They just have to do one more shift before the nuptials. What could wrong?

A firehouse that was recently closed down, decides to take over Firehouse 51. That is what could wrong The protestors cuff themselves to the firetrucks, and now the trucks are not going anywhere.

Chief Bowden (Eamonn Walker) is working against an imaginary clock to get his firehouse back and save theirs. Everywhere they turn, they are hitting roadblocks.

Just when they are making some lead way, a fight breaks out and Cruz is injured. Will his wedding go on as it? Will it be in the hospital? Or the worst-case scenario their happy day turns into a sad one.

You don’t want to miss this intense episode that does not involve any fires.

Chris Meloni is back as Elliot Stabler
March 31st, 2020 under Chris Meloni, Dick Wolf. [ Comments: none ]

Law & Order: SVU

The good news is that Chris Meloni is reprising his role as Elliot Stabler. The bad news is that it is not for Law & Order: SVU. Instead, he is getting his own spinoff, and it already a 13-episode order.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, “The new series revolves around an NYPD organized crime unit led by Stabler. The new series will also be set in New York.” I smell at least one crossover episode with SVU coming up.

No word, where and when the show will debut. However, with so many pilots never being shot because of COVID-19, I am assuming it will be on NBC in the Fall.

Meloni originated the role in 1999, and played the character until 2011.

Chicago PD is coming to FBI
March 26th, 2020 under Dick Wolf. [ Comments: none ]

Dick Wolf has dramas on NBC and CBS, and on Tuesday they are going to do a very rare two network crossover event. Chicago PD’s Detective Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) will guest star on FBI.

According to the CBS press release, “The FBI team investigates a drug deal gone bad after the body of a college student is found. Also, Detective Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) temporarily joins the team, and finds her usual investigative methods clash with the Bureau’s more buttoned up environment, on the second season finale of FBI.”

As cool as this is, I wish that Wolf Entertainment would stop doing crossovers with PD. I just don’t like that show, and it is all about me.

Before S. Epatha Merkerson was running the Emergency Department on Chicago Med, she had timne to be in a book club on The Cosby Show. She looks the same now as she did when she was 35 in that 1988 episode.
