Ellen DeGeneres stings Teri Hatcher
July 7th, 2010 under Desperate Housewives, Ellen DeGeneres, Teri Hatcher. [ Comments: none ]

So Teri Hatcher was The Ellen DeGeneres Show and the Desperate Housewife she told to her that once a year thousands of bees attack her house and because of that she is afraid of bees. Well Ellen being Ellen did something that has left a stinger in Teri for years to come. You have to watch to see what she does because it will have you buzzing about it for days!
BTW as you will see in the replay, there was one final sting for Teri because as she suspected she did have an upskirt. Good thing she for her and us was wearing underwear at the time.

Teri Hatcher went to the happiest place on earth and as you can tell by these picture it was the happiest place for her to be at. Disneyland turned the Desperate Housewife into a big kid as she posed with Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Seriously doesn’t she look happy? It is like the years just melted off of her face and she looks like a little girl again!

The second best thing about Ugly Betty getting cancelled is that it freed up Vanessa Williams to join Desperate Housewives next season. ABC said that she will shakes things up and wreak havoc on Wisteria Lane when she moves in. If any actress can do it, it is Vanessa Williams. Now the only question will the writers be able to write for her? If it is anything like the season, I am not sure. Desperate just hasn’t been good since the end of the first season. Hopefully her joining the show will put a fire under their a$$es.

The Desperate Housewives stand behind Mark Cherry
April 13th, 2010 under Desperate Housewives. [ Comments: none ]

So last week Nicollette Sheridan filed a lawsuit against her former boss alleging that the show creator hit her and fired her for complaining about his. Well today his remaining Desperate Housewives Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross, Eva Longoria and Felicity Huffman released a joint statement defending him according to People.

“It would be irresponsible of us to let the public believe that being a part of this show from its inception has been anything but a blessing. We have no first-hand knowledge of what Nicollette may or may not have experienced, but we would never characterize our set as a hostile environment. It is, in fact, the opposite. The friendships and support that Marc Cherry, the cast, the crew and the producers have shared for the past six years have made this a wonderful job that we are grateful for every day.”
Teri Hatcher added:
“While my adoration and respect for the classic and dynamic chemistry of the characters of Susan and Edie is indelible, I’m honored to stand with Eva, Felicity and Marcia, as a group and clarify that our set environment is nothing less than an amazingly positive experience. I have never felt discriminated against. In fact, I have felt heard and respected by Marc and other executives in regards to both my professional and personal needs.”

It would be interesting to hear what they would’ve said if this was the last season of the show. Just saying.

Nicollette Sheridan slaps a lawsuit on Desperate Housewives’ Marc Cherry

About a year ago Nicollette Sheridan was fired from Desperate Housewives and now she is firing back with a lawsuit. According to TMZ she filed a $20 million lawsuit against ABC and DH for assault and battery, gender violence and wrongful termination. She alleges in the lawsuit that show creator Marc Cherry physically attacked her after she confronted him about his behavior. In the lawsuit paperwork she claims that on September 24, 2008 “Cherry took her aside and forcefully hit her with his hand across her face and head.” She then says she went to ABC about the incident, and then she added that they didn’t do anything about it. National Enquirer reported this last year, but nothing came of it until now.
TMZ added that Sheridan also claims that Cherry acted in a “extremely abusive and aggressive manner” towards other people on the show. She mentioned one cast member by name in the legal papers, she claims that when Teri Hatcher went to Cherry’s bosses he said, “I hope Teri Hatcher gets hit by a car and dies.” No word from Teri Hatcher about the lawsuit, but I am not expecting her to make one. While Teri might not be talking just yet, ABC released this statement to the LA Times, “While we have yet to see the actual complaint, we investigated similar claims made by Ms. Sheridan last year and found them to be without merit.”
I wonder why she waited until now to file the lawsuit?
Sadly it is looking like the off-screen drama is more interesting than anything we have seen on the show this season. Desperate Housewives has been going down hill ever since the first season eded and it especially declined when Edie Britt was killed off last year.
