Yesterday on The Late Show, David Letterman tried to talk to the people on the NYC street outside his theater via the Hose Cam, and to say it didn’t go well would be an understatement. Only in Manhattan, could you hear a voice coming from above and totally ignore it. And that is what they did the CBS host.
After many many many failed attempts, his people finally rounded a group of people to listen their boss; and I am sure those passersby regretted that decision. Although, it was so hot they might’ve appreciated getting hosed down.
BTW I love this video so much because you see Letterman back in his old form, you know, when he was having fun doing the late night talk show. I guess with his end date in sight, his job is fun again and not just a job.

Joan Rivers is on The Late Show tonight, and David Letterman asked her about the recent interview she did with CNN where she walked while filming it. After they CBS host and the comedian were done talking about it, they changed topics. I guess she said something he didn’t like because he got up and walked out. In other words, he did a Joan Rivers to Joan Rivers.
Which actually was a good thing because she told a dirty dirty joke that actually made me laugh really hard. It is also a good thing Dave wasn’t in the room at the time because who knows what hearing that word, coming out of her mouth, on his show, would’ve done to him.
Finally, if you think he really walked out on her, you are wrong. If he could sit through Joaquin Phoenix the whole time during that infamous interview and never leave, then why would he do it to an old old friend?

Donald Trump was on The Late Show yesterday and he had a little message for David Letterman. I have no idea what it says because I can’t stop looking at his hair. Seriously, how long must it be to create that flip so far away from his head. He probably gives Crystal Gayle a run for the money when it comes to who has longer hair. And her’s is down to the floor.

Adam Sandler was on The Late Show tonight and David Letterman wanted to know how he keeps his youthful appearance. Little Nicky revealed he would never get plastic surgery, so then how does he do it? When Zohan is filming a closeup, he has an assistant stand behind him and pulls his facial skin to the back of his head. It’s like an instant face lift without any knives.
Not a bad way for him to keep looking like he did when he started on Saturday Night Live back in 1990. While it is not bad for him, it totally sucks for his assistant. I’d hate that job!

Barbara Walters is retiring this week and David Letterman is doing the same thing next year. So tonight when she appeared on The Late Show, the two hosts who don’t want to retire any more, agreed to walk into the sunset together. Then the CBS host realized what he agreed to, a suicide pack. So will they do it? Doubtful, because Baba Wawa told the late night to go first. Which is a good thing because the In Memoriams couldn’t handle losing both of them at the same time.
