Craig Ferguson’s interview with Morgan Freeman left me crying
December 10th, 2009 under Craig Ferguson, Morgan Freeman. [ Comments: 1 ]

(starts at 2:55)

Morgan Freeman was on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and he was telling him about flying and being caught in a storm that is called bomb. So Craig asked if him he cried and what ensued how me laughing so hard it had me crying. Craig likes to end his interviews with an awkward pause and there were so many awesome ones in the last two minutes of that interview it was pure gold!!! Seriously spend two minutes and just watch how genius great improv can be during an interview when it is done right and Craig is a master at that!!!
What was also pure gold was the a cappella band that Morgan Freeman brought along to perform on the show. Overtune was discovered by Clint Eastwood’s wife Dina when they were in South Africa filming Invictus and they now have 7 songs on the soundtrack and are performing on American TV. How ohlala is their sound!!!

Tonight on CBS’s The Late Late Show with Craig Fergus at 12:37a, he will be interviewing Howie Mandel and Gary Unmarried’s Paula Marshall!

UPDATE: Next Tuesday it will be Craig Ferguson’s 1,000th time that he has hosted The Late Late Show and CBS announced that Wavy the puppet will be hosting. And Wavy won’t be the only puppet on the special episode Dracula will be bringing his puppet How I Met You Mother’s Jason Segel with him!!! Besides the puppets there will be some humans on the show, also booked are Kristen Bell, Maria Bello and Jason Schwartzman! I was kind of hoping that Mary McCormack would be on the show after all she bought him the rattlesnake mug that he has been drinking out of for over 100 of that 1,000 episodes that so many guests ask him about.
Please don’t forget to make #CraigFerguson the hottest trending topic on Twitter and Tweet #CraigFeguson as many times as you can on Tuesday!

This is why Craig Ferguson is the Sexiest Late Night Talk Show Host!
December 8th, 2009 under Craig Ferguson, Jimmy Kimmel, Talk Shows. [ Comments: 2 ]

Marie Claire is holding a poll for “Which Late-Night Talk Show Host Would You Sleep With?” and Craig Ferguson is ahead by a lot of notches on the bed post. The CBS host is popular as Tiger Woods according to the people voting and at the end of The Late Late Show he showed us why is on top! Sadly though he was at 74% before he gave us his sexiest moves and now he is down to 68%. Personally I thought he looked really sexy when he got close to the camera and the lights weren’t shining on his face and his salt and pepper hair was all messy and his shirt was all open like that, oh I got to go vote for him again because he so deserves it after that. Too bad I didn’t watch the show live because I would’ve had some really nice dreams about him after that! So What Did I Learn on the Show Tonight is that Craig Ferguson is the sexiest late night host!!!
Now let’s go over the rest of the list. Are the 34 votes for David Letterman all of his past interns? Too soon? Who is voting for the firecrotch Conan O’Brien, he is too pale skinned to picture in a dark room naked…you know because his skin would illuminate the room. I would be afraid of Jay Leno in bed because I can’t picture any position where his chin didn’t get in the way? Jon Stewart is cute, but he doesn’t do anything for me. Now Stephen Colbert should be much higher on the list, remember those pictures of him in a tight body suit? He is a big big big boy!!! I think I will have to vote for him now that I thought about those pictures. On that note, who is voting for Jimmy Fallon, he is the opposite of Colbert as you will see in the video below from his Late Night show. Now lastly, why isn’t anyone voting for poor Jimmy Kimmel? C’mon he is sexy? In his own special way!
Below is the list on how everyone is doing on the Marie Claire poll. So now that you know how your favorite late night talk show host is doing, who are you voting for and why?

Jay Leno 1% (36 Votes)
Carson Daly 1% (32 Votes)
Craig Ferguson 68% (2697 Votes)
Jimmy Fallon 6% (234 Votes)
David Letterman 1% (34 Votes)
Jon Stewart 6% (246 Votes)
Stephen Colbert 3% (120 Votes)
Jimmy Kimmel 1% (35 Votes)
Conan O’Brien 13% (506 Votes)

Seriously after watching the below video, can you tell me who is voting for Jimmy Fallon? Seriously that whole bit was a huge turnoff for me.

UPDATE: Craig Ferguson will be talking about the poll tonight on the Late Late Show on CBS at 12:35a and I hear is really enjoying it! He should be loving because he is royally kicking ass in the poll, he is now at 71% and his next competitor Conan O’Brien (why?) is at 12%. Go Craig!!!

A real life marriage proposal on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson
December 4th, 2009 under Craig Ferguson, Marriage Proposals. [ Comments: 2 ]

So last night on CBS’s The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, he started off the show with something that has never happened before in the show’s nearly 1,000 episode history…a real life marriage proposal! Steve and Courtenay were visiting from Canada and they went to see Craig do his magic, and Steve decided that is where he was going to ask his girlfriend to marry him and she said yes! So touching, and I just loved how Craig just shooed them off after she became his fiancee.
So how did this couple have the oppurtunity to become engaged on national television, on a nation that isn’t theirs? Well according to amazing publicist who works on the show, here is how it all went down!

Steve and Courtenay are visiting from Winsor, Ontario. The ring went off in the metal detector coming into the building so security found out right away. Luckily she did not see it. When they were seated in the audience, he got up and told the audience coordinator on the sly, who in turn told the producers. The producers pulled Steve out minutes before the show and introduced him to Craig Ferguson. Steve was hoping to propose during a commercial break or sometime before they left the building but Craig said I’m coming to you at the start of the show.
Then calling her mom was something Craig brainstormed during the taping. The entire event was on the fly and orchestrated in minutes. It was pretty exciting!

It really was! Only one late night host could do what he did and make it work as lovely as it did and that is Craig Fergsuon. I know it left me in tears and had me hitting the :10 playback to watch him tell her, “I love your guts. Will you marry me?” How could she say no to that? BTW no word if Craig was invited to the wedding, but seriously an invite to the nuptials is the least they can do! After all he did let them get to that next stage on his show and he allowed her to tell her mom during the e-mail segment and not wait until the show was done taping.
Seriously what a great moment to witness! They say anything can happen in late night and last night something magical happened on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. On that note next week is Magic Week on the CBS show, so check it out next Monday to Friday at !2:35a!!!! And the following week on December 15th it is a big episode for him, it is his 1,000th one and in honor of his fans are doing a Tweet-a-Thon, so on that day please Tweet #CraigFerguson as many times as possible so we make it the day’s top Trending topic. We should be over Tiger Woods by then, right???

Craig Ferguson explains how Dexy’s Midnight Runners got their name!
November 25th, 2009 under Craig Ferguson. [ Comments: none ]

(starts at 5:50in)

So yesterday Maria Bello was on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and they were talking about her upcoming movie, The Private Lives of Pippa Lee. She tells him that her character does a drug called dextroamphetamine and he tells her that the band Dexy’s Midnight Runners is named after that drug. He says, “They were called Dexy’s Midnight Runners cause if you take Dexys, you’re going to be running at midnight.” I have loved the song Come On Eileen for like ever and I totally never like knew that is how they got their name!
So you might ask why post this because it is so random? Well I Tweeted about it, and the Tweet got a lot of attention so I thought for those of you who don’t do Twitter you would like to know this useless fact! I know I did! Plus one of my followers @xyzcat also thought the little tidbit was interesting and confirmed what Craig said. According to Child of the 1980’s, “The band was formed in 1978 by Kevin Rowland and Kevin Archer and took its name from a drug called Dexedrine, a brand of dextroamphetamine (try saying that three times fast) which gave you a massive boost of energy that allowed you to dance all night (where the Midnight Runners part of the name came from).”
So now take this little nugget of information, and dance like you are dexy to Come On Eileen!!! BTW now it makes so much sense why the beat of the song is the way it was…

Finally check out The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson tonight on CBS at 12:35a because he has on Wolfgang Puck and Robin Penn! Plus he might just explain another band’s name?

Craig Ferguson suggested to post this
November 21st, 2009 under Craig Ferguson. [ Comments: 2 ]

So yesterday when Craig Ferguson was reading e-mails on his Late Late Show when he got one from a girl in El Paso. So he sang Marty Robbins’ song El Paso about falling in love with a girl from there. Then he read that she wrote her parents grounded because she failed her math test and he knew he was going to be in trouble for singing that he fell in love with a girl from El Paso who is still young enough to take math tests, so he tried to backtrack in his own way. He was like we can cut this out unless the audience puts it on their blogs. So I took that as meaning I should post it, no? Although he said if I did, he would probably being doing 1-5 in the state penitentiary near El Paso. While I don’t want him to go to prison, I wouldn’t mind having one less late night talk show to watch…but I would miss watching him because his show is hysterical. Hmmm….maybe I shouldn’t have posted this. Oh well too late…
BTW he ended the show with another apology about singing the song that you have to watch to see what it is for…

Watch The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson weeknights at 12:35a to see what he will be apologizing for next. And don’t forget on November 30th starts Magic Week, it is going to be magical!!!
