It’s lucky 7 for Chucky!
September 8th, 2015 under Chucky, Movies. [ Comments: 1 ]

While Jason Vorhees, Freddy Krueger and Michael Myers are all getting crappy remakes, Chucky is getting another movie all his own. The doll master Don Mancini broke the news on his Twitter yesterday. He Tweeted, “ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT #CHUCKY7 #ComingSoonish (Art by @mattryantobin).” If it is anything as good as Curse of Chucky aka Chucky 6, soonish can’t come soonish enough.

The Curse of Chucky trailer will leave you cursing!
August 1st, 2013 under Chucky, Movies. [ Comments: none ]

On October 8th Chucky is back after almost a decade and he means some serious business!
Horror’s favorite doll has a 6th movie coming out on DVD and you are not going to want to miss Curse of Chucky. Especially after you see how evil he is in the red band trailer. I love that he is still so sadistic because I don’t remember the last time they made a fun slasher flick like this one looks to be.
And how come this movie is going to Straight-to-DVD when movies like The Lone Ranger and After Earth got theatrical releases. I bet you this movie would actually make a profit if it were to be released on the big screen. I know I would pay to see the latest film in the franchise like that, wouldn’t you?

The Curse of Chucky is back!
July 8th, 2013 under Chucky, Movies. [ Comments: 2 ]

It has been almost a decade since a little red headed doll named Chucky came to life to kill people, and on October 8th he will take his 6th stab at a movie about his murders. Brad Dourif returns as the voice of the murderous doll and this time his daughter Fiona will be co-starring in the movie with her dad. How weird will their family reunions be if he winds up killing her in Curse of Chucky?
But back to the movie, I can’t wait to own Curse of Chucky when it comes out on DVD just days before Halloween. Here’s a secret when I was in college, I brought a Chucky doll with me! I miss my slasher franchises from the ’80s and the ’90s, and I am so happy that at least one is back as sequel and not a remake.

BTWF roles: Katherine Heigl in Bride of Chucky
November 29th, 2011 under Before They Were Famous, Chucky, Katherine Heigl. [ Comments: none ]

Before Katherine Heigl’s best friend was hit by a bus on Grey’s Anatomy, her best friend was hit by a truck in Bride of Chucky. She looks the same now as she did when she was 18 in that 1998 movie.
