I forgot about this until now but after Charlie Sheen was fired from Two and a Half Men, Hugh Grant was considered for the male lead for the sitcom. Today on The Howard Stern Show, the Shock Jock wanted to know why he turned down the role, and he explained it was because they didn’t have a script ready for him. The actor was too scared to take it on without knowing what they had planned for him.
Did he regret it? Just the money aspect because what they were offering him was “stratospheric.” Considering Ashton Kutcher became the highest paid TV actor when he took on the role, it was really up there.
It was then that Grant realized that TV actors make lots of money here in The States. In fact, when he worked with The Big Bang Theory’s Simon Helberg on Florence Foster Jenkens, he had forgotten that fact. As he explained, “When he came over to work on the film, I might’ve been vaguely patronizing to him because he hadn’t done films before.” Then he added, “Gradually, you realize, not only is he a much bigger star than me, he’s maybe the richest man I’ve ever met.” Thus, the next time you feel bad for a celebrity on successful TV show, don’t!
Now back to Grant, that is the sexiest I have ever seen the RomCom lover look! I would go to Four Weddings and a Funeral with him anytime!
The Big Bang Theory is going into its 10th season and the stars’ contracts all are up for renewal at the end of it. Over the weekend, Kunal Nayyar addressed that fact at the MCM Comic Con in London. He said, “Look, next season as it stands, on our contract, could be our last season of Big Bang Theory.” Then he added, “To be completely honest, I know people are going to want to know what happens after season 10. I have no, you know, I don’t know what’s going to happen, but if it were to me, personally, I would love to do show as long as you guys will have us on the air.” Why wouldn’t he re-sign because what will he be able to do after the shows ends?
That is what the actors of TBBT need to realize, when this show ends so will their careers for the most part. It’s hard to see them as anything but who they play on it.
Plus, it is the #1 sitcom, it does well in the syndication, so they need to keep making the big bucks while they still can. Look how many cancelled shows the casts of Friends, Seinfeld and Everybody Loves Raymond had after they all ended their shows early.

Tonight at 8p, Mike & Molly ends its run with the perfect goodbye for this family sitcom. The two episodes are so sweet, filled with so much of love and joy, and humor, that you will be wondering why CBS has ended this show.
The first episode deals with the crazy things that Mike (Billy Gardell) and Molly (Melissa McCarthy) will do to make sure that they will get a baby from the adoption agency. They will go the extremes that any parent who wants a child will go through. They will just be a whole lot funnier as they do it.
Then in the second episode, they get their baby. It starts off with Molly getting the phone in the middle of the night that the mother of her baby is in labor. Molly then has the task of waking up her husband, her mom (Swoosie Kurtz) and her husband Vince (Louis Mustillo), and her sister (Katy Mixon). Once she somehow and comedically gets them out of house, it is time to pick up Mike’s mom (Rondi Reed).
Once they get to the hospital, the craziness ensues. Especially when you get the whole family and their friends (Reno Wilson and Nyambi Nyambi) together in a small confined place like a waiting room. The two grandmas duke it out and it becomes a hilarious mess.
Finally, it is time to meet Mike & Molly’s baby and there is a sweet surprise that is the cherry on top of this series finale.
I could see where the show could’ve gone had it been picked up, but it also is the perfect ending for this enjoyable show that gave me and so many others many many many laughs!

Ever since The Big Bang Theory started, there has been a mystery about the show. What is behind those broken elevator doors? That mystery is no longer a secret because Jim Parsons peeled open the doors and showed us what is behind them. A real looking elevator shaft.
Now if only someone could tell us, why the three of them are still living in a building with a broken lift for almost 10 years because that is what I really want to know. I mean what manager doesn’t fix a broken elevator after all of this time. I can’t see anyone wanting to rent an apartment there with those conditions. Would you?
Tonight at 8p, The Big Bang Theory celebrates its 200th episode on CBS. So yesterday, Conan O’Brien had the full cast on his TBS show to honor their milestone and he had a surprise for them. The host had puppies dressed up as their characters and put them in a mini version of Sheldon and Leonard’s apartment. Seriously, aren’t the pooches so arfdorable as our favorite nerds?
So much so, I hope that TBS considers giving the caninerds their own sitcom next season. I know I would watch The Big Bark Theory. Wouldn’t you?
BTW if that wasn’t enough cuteness for you, here’s the two-legged Sheldon, Leonard, Walowitz, Raj, Penny, Amy and Bernadette playing with the four-legged version of themselves. It’s something to howl about!
