Harold & Kumar sing their own version of Yuletide cheer!!!
November 2nd, 2011 under Christmas Music, Harold and Kumar. [ Comments: none ]

Christmas is coming early this year because A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas is coming out this Friday. But not only are we getting a movie from them, we are getting a Yule Tide soundtrack that only they can sing. As you can see in this commercial that was released on Funny or Die, they got into the egg nog and sang songs that are not kid friendly in the least. Too bad they don’t sing their version of I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, can you imagine what they would do with it?
So light up a joint and buy A Very Harold & Kumar Yuletide because Christmas will never ever be the same!

Will Ferrell and John C Reilly recreate a holiday classic!
December 13th, 2010 under Christmas Music, Frat Pack, Will Ferrell. [ Comments: none ]

Funny or Die’s Will Ferrell along with John C Reilly re-recorded the David Bowie and Bing Crosby holiday classic Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy that was taped for 1977’s Bing Crosby’s Merrie Olde Christmas. I can’t believe I am saying this, but they really did a f*cking awesome job. The Anchorman really has a sweet singing voice.
Sh!t someone please get me the Grinch or Ebenezer Scrooge ASAP because I am in too good of a mood because of the holiday season and I am being really nice. Bah freakin’ Humbug!

Hallelujah the Christmas flash mobs are starting
December 2nd, 2010 under Christmas Music, Flash Mobs. [ Comments: 1 ]

A few weeks ago over 100 people surprised mall goers by singing Hallelujah at the Seaway Mall food court and thus began the season for holiday flash mobs. I love Christmas songs and I love flash mobs, so I hope we get more of this combination in the future. Seriously listening to them sing like that just got me in to the holiday spirit!

Curt Smith’s This is Christmas brings Tears of Joy!
November 28th, 2010 under Christmas Music, Tears For Fears. [ Comments: none ]

Tears for Fears’ Curt Smith is releasing his first original holiday song in his 30 year music career tomorrow and it is called This is Christmas. The background vocals features his two daughters Diva and Wilder, and a local school’s choir. The song doesn’t only have his family involved with it, but that is what it is about because here is how he described it, “an adult visiting his parents at Christmas and lamenting how he’s always made to feel like a child when he returns home. It culminates in his realization and acceptance that they’re family after all, and nothing will (or even should) change that.” Let’s be real we all know that no matter how old we get, when we go home we are like children all over again. Saying that everyone can relate to this future Christmas classic so download it at iTunes and Amazon starting tomorrow, or get an autograph copy via Curt Smith’s website.
And if listening to it on your computer or iPod isn’t enough, you will be able to hear it on December 15th on USA’s Psych. The show that Curt Smith made his acting debut on earlier in the year!
Lastly Smith will be playing several solo LA shows next year before touring with the Tears for Fears on the West Coast and South America. I know I am going to go see the man who sings my all time favorite song Mad World!!! And I mean the TFF version and not the others.

A Very Peanus Christmas
December 22nd, 2008 under Christmas Music. [ Comments: 1 ]

Every now and again you find something on the internet that makes you go why did I press play, but at that same time you just can’t stop watching. A Very Peanus Christmas is just that type of video. The webisode was created by James Gunn. who many of us got to know on VH1’s Scream Queens, and stars Michael Rosenbaum (I miss Lex Luthor on Smallville) and Scream Queen Tiffany Shepis. I don’t know how else to describe it, but you just have to watch it. Seriously Michael Rosenbaum as Charlie Brown is so wrong, it is right.
Looks like this is the first in many more in James Gunn’s webseries PG-P0rn.
