Magic Mike XXL has a new poster out and it is pure magic. Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Kevin Nash and Adam Rodriguez are all wearing tight jeans without any shirts and it makes me really want to see this movie on July 6th. Who doesn’t?
BTW the poster really makes me wish that the 3rd one is done in 3D! It would almost be like being at strip club for real. I miss my good old days in Miami!
The second trailer is out for Magic Mike XXL and this one comes with more skin. I don’t know about you, but I was so disappointed in the first movie because it was filled with much more lame story than exciting stripping. I paid $1.50 to see it and I wanted my money back.
This one looks like they will have the men take off their clothes a lot more, so maybe I won’t be wanting my singles back. But I will let you go see it on July 1st first, and then report back to me if it is worth a whole $1.50!
I have to admit I was very disappointed with Magic Mike, so I really have no temptation to see Magic Mike XXL. That was until Matt Bomer shared this poster from the movie. Along with the topless photo showing off his perfect abs, he said, “I hope to see you on the dance floor July 1st!” I’ll be there, I will so be there! Will you be too?
The first trailer is out for Magic Mike XXL and it looks more like it should be the sequels for Flashdance and Footloose (the original one, not that unwatchable remake that stars the overrated Juliane Hough).
Will I go to see it on July 1st? Hell no. I will wait until other people see it and tell me is all about strippers and not some dude trying to make it with a woman who doesn’t want him.
Seriously, how boring was Magic Mike? I went to see it because I was looking forward to the stripping scenes. Instead it was a boring Independent love story that is better suited for Cinemax on a Saturday afternoon when you are sick in bed and nothing else is on.
So I say fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
Channing Tatum was on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and the ABC late night host asked him about having an imaginary friend when he was kid. It was then that Magic Mike admitted that he did and his name was Boyd. So Kimmel wanted to know when was the last time he saw his former BFF, and the former stripper said it has been a long time. Then the show had a surprise for him because they brought Boyd out to reunite with his real pal. You can’t even imagine what happens next.
It is so freaking stupid and yet so brilliant at the same time.
But you have to wonder if the JKL has run out of ideas, or they this is the beginning of a new age madness for the show? What do you think?
