Rules of Engagement comes back with a big bang!!!
October 20th, 2011 under CBS. [ Comments: none ]

Rules of Engagement was suppose to air on Saturday nights, but when a another show that I liked (How to Be a Gentleman) was canceled it took over its slot starting tonight on CBS at 8:30p.
Tonight on the season premiere Russell (David Spade) comes back from a cruise with some big news… He got married to Liz, the crazy upstairs neighbor who has seven cats whose names are are all on her answering machine. After he tells his friends the news, he will spend the rest of the episode trying to get out of this marriage, but will he???
While his marriage is just starting out, Audrey (Megyn Price) and Jeff (Patrick Warburton) are having a little problem with theirs. She wants her husband to dirty talk to her and their bedroom scenes will make you never want to have dirty conversations again.
And the best part of the show is when a sun tan goes horribly wrong, it is something you have to see to believe and it will leave you laughing out loud.
So tune into Rules of Engagement tonight at 8:30p because it is the show that won’t die, so you might as well watch it. That and it is actually funny!

The fourth new show to get a full season pick up is…
October 5th, 2011 under CBS. [ Comments: none ]

CBS is going for broke because they picked up 2 Broke Girls for a full season. I am still not sold on the show just yet, but it actually was a little better this week. I think is because Whitney Cummings distanced herself from the show where she is behind the camera to focus on the sh!tty one where she is in front of it. The humor wasn’t as offensive, so that is my assumption why they didn’t cross the line like they dad during their second week. Hopefully it will get even better, now that NBC decided to occupy Whitney’s time with her unfunny sitcom for the full season also.
BTW the news of the first (and only) shows to get full season pick ups so far are comedies, it proves sitcoms are not dead! Although it looks like Free Agents will die tomorrow…

Learn How to Be a Gentleman tonight!
September 29th, 2011 under CBS. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight at 8:30p on CBS How to Be a Gentleman is going to premiere and you are going to want to learn how to be one!
Andrew Carlson writes an article called “How to Be a Gentleman” for a magazine, but when it gets sold he now has to figure out to change it up so it is not as pretentious and uptight as it has been. When he goes to a gym for research, he finds out the owner of it, is an old high school tormentor whose way of life is exactly what the magazine is looking for. Together they form a friendship, that will make you laugh because their bromance works!
When I got the screener for this sitcom, I totally expected to hate it but I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. It still freaks me out that David Hornsby, who played the bum on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, is playing a gentleman on this comedy but it works! What also works is Kevin Dillion playing the manly man.
So tune into this sitcom that will give your abs a workout as it teaches you to be a little more classier.

A Gifted Man is a gift for Friday nights
September 23rd, 2011 under CBS. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight on CBS at 8p A Gifted Man debuts and it is gift to end our work week. Michael Holt is a NY Neurosurgeon who is too busy to care. He is great at what he does, but he sucks when it comes to interacting with people. That is until his ex-wife visits him and the two spend some quality time together. The next day he calls her, but finds out she had died in a car accident a few weeks beforehand. She will come to him again and asks him to help her out because she left things at her free clinic a mess. While he is there, he winds out helping one of the patients there and his ex-wife tells him that is just the beginning of the new him. The man who was too busy for life, finds the time through death.
I can’t wait to see how much he changes as the season goes on.
