Which actor from 9021-Oh gave the ladies the most Ohs!
August 16th, 2019 under Andy Cohen, Beverly Hills 90210 / Melrose Place. [ Comments: none ]

Brian Austin Green was on Watch What Happens Live yesterday and Andy Cohen wanted to know which of the male actors in Beverly Hills, 90210 got laid the most.

Is it Luke Perry? That is where my mind immediately went because who didn’t want to get it on with Dylan McKay? He was the sexiest one of them all.

What about Jason Priestley? Who didn’t have a crush on Brandon Walsh? I mean, he was the good boy we wanted to date.

Then there is Ian Ziering. Well, Steve Sanders was a nice guy who we just wanted to be friends with.

Finally, there is Green himself. David Silver was the shy innocent boy, you just wanted to corrupt.

So which boy became a man the most??? Green said it was him. After all, he did date two of his co-stars, Tori Spelling and Tiffany-Amber Theissen, so it would make sense he would be the biggest chick magnet of the bunch.

Do you believe Mr. Megan Fox?

BTWF: Ian Ziering eating Duncan Hines

Before Ian Ziering went to high school in Beverly Hills, 90210, his mom baked him a Duncan Hines birthday cake and brought it to him in college. How cute was the 22-year-old with the longer curls in 1986?

Does the BH90210 cast get Beverly Hills salaries?
August 15th, 2019 under Beverly Hills 90210 / Melrose Place. [ Comments: none ]

Back in the ’90s, Beverly Hills, 90210 was one of the biggest shows on television and the cast made good bank back then. It has been 20 years since the show ended and, for the most part, the actors have not the commercial success like they had back then. Which makes you wonder if they are still earning the big bucks?

Well, we might not have been wondering but The Hollywood Reporter wanted to know. Therefore, they put a mole in Fox’s billing department and found out how much they each make. At least that is how I am assuming they found out they all make the same amount.

Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Gabrielle Carteris, Shannen Doherty, Jason Priestley, Brian Austin Green and Ian Ziering each make $70,000 an episode. That means they made a grand total of $420,000 for the 6-episode event. Since Garth and Spelling came up with the idea, they get an extra $15,000 per episode. Priestley directed an episode, so he got an additional $46,000 for doing that.

The fact that they are making for the series about the same as what the cast of Will 8 Grace makes per episode, you know they love each other and the show. That and Doherty was robbed. She should be making more than her castmates. However, I respect her and the rest of the gang for taking the Friends’ approach to salaries. They each make the same amount because they are all equals.

BH90210 is back and it’s not the show we knew…
August 7th, 2019 under Beverly Hills 90210 / Melrose Place. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight is finally the night, BH90210 is back on Fox at 9p. While the people look the same, it is not the show we grew up with. This is not a Beverly Hills, 90210 revival. Instead, it is Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling trying to pitch a revival of Beverly Hills, 90210. Make sense? It will.

The series starts off with Priestley, Garth, Ziering, Carteris, Green and Spelling heading to Vegas for a convention celebrating the show’s 30th anniversary. On the way there we get to know what they have been up to since they graduated from West Beverly.

Some of their scenarios are pretty close to what they are really going through in their real lives. Some of it is exaggerated. While other parts of it are completely made up.

Spelling has financial problems and works on reality shows to pay for her 6 kids. Her husband does not work. Unlike Dean McDermott, her husband on this show is a television reporter. She is best friends with Garth, Jennie is on her third marriage and it is going like the first 2. As is in it is over.

Green is married to a famous singer and he is a stay at home dad for their 3 kids.
Ziering is a selling machine and will sell anything with his face and his wife’s mug on it. Carteris is a brand new grandmother who is also the president of the actor’s guild. Finally, Priestley is married to his publicist. The actor now works as a director and he had anger management issues. As you can tell, that is not his life story.

Now that you got the update, it is time to see them in action at the convention. They do a panel and answer some of the fan’s questions. This gives us even more of a glimpse of how they are today.

When they are done with the fans, they go and have some drinks. It is like the gang was never apart. Although maybe they should remain that way. That is because by the end of the episode they will all get into some trouble. Things like, who sleeps together? Who has a same-sex kiss? Who steals something that leads to them all getting arrested? Whose spouse gets caught cheating on them? Who is a bigger bitch than Shannen? You don’t want to miss all of that.

However, that is not the end of tonight’s episode, You get to see how they came up with the idea to do the revival. Then next week, they pitch the idea to the networks and try to get everyone on board. Even Shannen Doherty.

Like I said this is not Beverly Hills, 90210. In a way, this is for all of us who grew up with the show. We thought we wanted a straight-forward revival, but what we are getting is so much better.

The actors are having fun playing heightened versions of themselves and we are having fun watching them to do so. The 6-part series is what we needed, we just did not know it. Now we do and we will spend the next 6 Wednesdays watching it all go down.

BTWF: Jennie Garth on Growing Pains

Before the boys of West Beverly were chasing after Jennie Garth on Beverly Hills, 90210, she was being chased by the Seaver brothers on Growing Pains. How cute was the 17-year-old in that 1989 episode?
