Jay Leno gets his Bette Midler moment!
January 30th, 2014 under Bette Midler, Jay Leno, Seth MacFarlane. [ Comments: none ]

When Johnny Carson did his last The Tonight Show, Bette Midler serenaded him. Well yesterday when Bill Maher made his last appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, he brought along Seth MacFarlane to serenade him with their version of Thanks for the Memories. They are no Miss Divine, but they were pretty darn close.

BTWF awards shows: Bette Midler at The Tonys
November 1st, 2012 under Before They Were Famous, Bette Midler. [ Comments: none ]

Before Bette Midler had an Outrageous Fortune, she was just the daughter of a Fiddler on the Roof. How awesome was it to see the 22 year old in her first major awards show performance back in 1968.

Hocus Pocus and Bette Midler is unrecognizable!

Bette Midler went as the Ghost of Coco Chanel for the 17th Annual NYRP Halloween Benefit Gala and I didn’t even know it was the Divine Miss M at first. I am not sure if is the white skin or the dark hair, but she looks nothing like the woman we got to know in The Rose. And because of that I absolutely loved her ingenious costume!

Parental Guidance looks grand!
September 7th, 2012 under Bette Midler, Billy Crystal. [ Comments: none ]

Billy Crystal and Bette Midler are playing a married couple in Parental Guidance, so what else do I need to tell you to make you want see this movie when it comes out on Christmas? Well maybe if they cast someone else to play their daughter besides Marissa Tomei, but I know am willing to overlook that because it has Billy Crystal and Bette Midler are in the same movie.
I nominate them to host this year’s Oscars together, anyone else feel the same way? Seriously could you imagine the song and dance number they could do together for Hollywood’s big night?

Cher and Bette Midler taking over for Celine in Vegas?
November 30th, 2006 under Bette Midler, Céline Dion, Cher, Concerts/Tours. [ Comments: none ]

All the pieces of the post-Celine Dion era at Caesars Palace are falling into place: Cher’s deal is done, and Bette is set. Cher will move into the 4,000-seat Colosseum in the spring of 2008, and Bette Midler will follow in the fall, I hear. Dion ends her 41/2-year run, an unequaled local success, in December 2007. Depending on which reports you believe, she either plans to launch a two-year world tour or will try to have a second child through in vitro fertilization.

How cool would it be if the two of them did it together?
