All 5 of the Backstreet Boys are hitting the road in August and I have a pair of tickets to give away for their In A World Like This tour. All you have to do is email me the answer at [email protected] to “What is the name of their tour?” by June 25th with your full name, email, phone number, and your choice of city/venue and concert date. One winner will be chosen at random. Only the concert tickets are provided, you will need to provide your own transportation and such.
Backstreet Boys announced that they will release a brand new album and embark on a 24 city North American tour with all five original members – Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Litrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson. This is the band’s first tour with all five original members in a decade.
The In A World Like This album is set for release on July 30th and the tour will kick off on August 2nd in Chicago’s Charter One Pavilion at Northerly Island and culminate with a stop at San Francisco’s Sleep Train Amphitheatre on September 8th.
Backstreet Boys will be joined by special guests Jesse McCartney and DJ Pauly D.
In A World Like This is an album that sees the guys revisiting the groundbreaking dance-pop sound that first made them international superstars. Songs like the Max Martin penned first single, In A World Like This, are classic BSB, bursting with big hooks, unforgettable melodies, and high-energy rhythms that both highlights the group’s classic sound and vision while also placing it squarely in the here and now.
The first single “In A World Like This” will be available everywhere starting on June 25th.
Tickets are available now on Livenation’s site.

The Backstreet Boys posted their take of the Harlem Shake on YouTube and one of the members realized he revealed too much in it. Nick Carter Tweeted “Omg. I just realized my Junks hanging out in that video. AND I EDITED IT!! Crap.” So watch it and see if he’s larger than life! I definitely think he has got it goin’ on!
The Backstreet Boys will always live up to the last part of their name because BSB was doing a photoshoot with Tyler Shields and for some reason Nick Carter hit AJ McClean in the balls with a baseball bat. Does the reason really matter as long he did? I know my desire was fulfilled and I want it that way!
BTW I think we now know who is going to be the soprano in the group now! Good thing AJ got one kid out before this because I am not sure if he will have any more.
Today is November 6th and we are still 48 days away from Christmas; but that isn’t stopping the Backstreet Boys from releasing their holiday tune now. BSB posted It’s Christmas Time on iTunes today and I can’t stop listening to it. The X-Mas Carol that was written by Nick Carter and Howie Dorough along with Morgan Taylor Reid and Mika Guillory is just so cheery that I can’t get it out of my head.
I guess this song proves that Christmas Music will be coming earlier and earlier every year. Next year it will start on Halloween and then the following year on Columbus Day until we get to point that we get into the Holiday spirit again on December 26th.
Aaron Carter Tweeted the above photo and said, “I can barely open up this bottle of Japanese soda.. So cool!” I am not sure I would openly admit that something a toddler can do is something that I could not. But then again if he wasn’t smart enough to open a bottle, he probably isn’t smart enough to realize that.
