Gwen Stefani and Angelina Jolie take a stroll with their newborns babies Shiloh and Kingston at Brad Pitt’s secluded Santa Barbara estate, July 2nd. The pair wore matching baby slings and compared diaper stories while Angelina’s adopted daughter Zahara impressed both beauties with her new-found walking skills. Meanwhile, partners Brad and Gavin Rossdale took a break from babysitting with a jet skiing excursion. Gavin proved the more adventurous, powering into sea, while Brad stayed close to the coast with sidekick Maddox. With the coolest babies on the planet finally meeting each other, security in the compound was on high alert. The estate was heavily guarded by officers on dune buggies, patrol boats and rafts, as well as dogs posted around the property’s perimeters.

| Larry King Live nearly tripled its normal audience last night with the Star Jones interview. The show had 2,957,000 viewers with 917,000 in the 25-54 demo. That’s nearly double what Cooper got for the Jolie interview. No wonder CNN re-ran it today, though I wish they hadn’t.

Although the numbers are great for Anderson, they are really not all that impressive. I am sure CNN will spin this faster than a Dreidel…for that exclusive of an interview he should’ve done at least two million, Larry King would’ve. But one thing I will say, that is the lowest I have ever seen O’Reilly do at 11p.

| Drudge might have the answer….
There’s loud chatter among industry insiders that the $4 million deal PEOPLE Mag’s editor Larry Hackett cut with Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt for their baby pictures extended to CNN, also part of the TIME WARNER family.
Insiders say this was a "package deal" done in conjunction with CNN, which is how Anderson Cooper "secured" the first interview with Jolie [set to air next week.]
News executives are scratching their heads over CNN practicing checkbook journalism.

Seriously, I could not believe Anderson was willing to do an interview that was not about him being the story…but I guess he had no choice. And I sincerely doubt he is going to get anything good from her. It will be all about her efforts in Africa and maybe one or two answers about Brad and Shiloh. Angelina is a million times smarter than Anderson could ever dream to be!
