Andrew Garfield’s Sesame Street appearance will make you cry
October 18th, 2024 under Andrew Garfield, Sesame Street/Muppets. [ Comments: none ]

Andrew Garfield took a trip to where the air is sweet and had a heart-to-heart discussion with Elmo.

Sesame Street’s most famous resident wanted to know how the actor was doing. He told Elmo that he was missing his mom, Lynn, who died in 2019 from pancreatic cancer.

Then he explained that, in a way, it is a gift to miss someone because it shows how much you loved them. By missing her, he feels close to her because he remembers all the joy she brought into his life and those around her.

So, he is going to celebrate her while he is missing her. And now I am missing my parents because of the beautiful way that Garfield explained it to Elmo.

Florence Pugh was stiff at the We Live in Time premiere

Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh’s movie We Live in Time comes out tomorrow, and tonight was the premiere for it at the BFI London Film Festival.

Garfield showed up in person, but his co-star is east of London filming East of Eden in New Zealand. However, the actor and A24 wanted her to be there, so they made a life-size cardboard copy of her, and he walked the carpet with her.

Then during the party, she had one too many drinks and proved that she is a lightweight.

Which celebrity’s bathroom did Andrew Garfield vomit in?
October 10th, 2024 under Andrew Garfield. [ Comments: none ]

If you or I go to a party, drink too much, and throw up in the host’s bathroom, it is like who gives a shit.

However, if you are Andrew Garfield, you get to name-drop whose bathroom it was and who was waiting to go in next.

So, who was it? He told Florence Pugh during their interview for Vanity Fair to promote their movie We Live In Time that it was Prince. And who was outside the door? Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz.

Top that! I don’t think anyone who has never been to a Diidy party can. Too soon?

We have Andrew Garfield to blame for Jimmy Kimmel’s failed joke at the Emmys
September 14th, 2022 under Andrew Garfield, Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: none ]

I used to think that Andrew Garfield could do no wrong. I say used to because he did something on Sunday that is unforgivable.

What did he do? Yesterday, Jimmy Kimmel started his monologue by sharing a story about the Emmys. Not the story we wanted to hear, but a story that could’ve prevented the most talked about moment on TV’s biggest night.

As you have heard, Kimmel and Will Arnett did a bit where the talk show host pretended to be passed out on the stage. Instead of getting up and walking off the stage, he continued to lie there as Quinta Brunson accepted her award.

Since Kimmel is not a comedian and has never starred in a sitcom, he doesn’t know when a bit is over. So almost everyone is writing Mean Tweets about him.

So, why is Garfield at fault? Well, during the opening number, there were dancers dancing with fake spears, and one of the heads came off. The spearhead was about to hit Kimmel, but Garfield caught it in time. Therefore, it is Garfield’s fault that Kimmel was still conscious to do that bit.

But then again, had he been hit with it, then the show would’ve probably been over right then and there, and Brunson never would’ve accepted her award that night.

So maybe Garfield did a good thing. I am so confused.

Andrew Garfield clarifies his comments on taking a break from acting.
April 28th, 2022 under Andrew Garfield, The View. [ Comments: 11 ]

Yesterday, Variety posted an interview with Andrew Garfield about what a year he has had with his acting career. In the article, the Oscar nom says he is taking a break because he says, “I need to just be a bit ordinary for a while.”

Well, lots of outlets assumed that meant that he was going to take a lot of time off, which would be completely understandable. I mean, in the last year, we saw him in Tick Tick Boom, The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Under the Banner of Heaven.

Today, when he was on The View, they asked him long his break will be for, and it is not as long as it was assumed. “I’ve been working hard, and I’ve been loving the work I’ve been doing,” he said. “I need to take a month or so. A month of a break, maybe two.”

Garfield earned that time off. But no more than that. We need as much of him on the screen as we can get because he is one of the best actors in his age group.
