Is this why Mario Vasquez quit American Idol? |

Remember Mario Vasquez who quit American Idol and never gave a good reason, well looks like we might finally know why? But the person making the claim was fired from American Idol and waited two years to sue Vasquez, Fox and Fremantle. Having said that here is what came out today, a man who used to work as an assistant accountant for Freemantle claims that Vasquez sexually harassed him before he quit the show.
TMZ obtained the lawsuit that was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court today. In the lawsuit, Magdaleno Olmos claims "Vazquez stared lasciviously, smiled lasciviously … and on one occasion followed him into a bathroom … knocked on the door of the plaintiff's stall and made eye contact through the space in the stall door." The lawsuit alleges that Vazquez "started to rub his genitals over his pants. Attempting to leave the bathroom, Olmos opened the door of the stall and saw Vazquez standing in front of him with his pants down masturbating." According to the documents, Vazquez pushed Olmos "further into the stall and continued masturbating with one hand and trying to pull down Olmos' pants with another hand." Olmos claims that he tried to "cover his body with his hands" but Vazquez touched his "chest and stomach underneath his shirt, and Olmos' "genitals" as Vazquez "attempted to unzip" Olmos' pants. Vazquez then allegedly asked Olmos "if he wanted oral sex." In the lawsuit, Olmos claims that as he "managed to get out of the stall, and attempted to leave the bathroom," Vazquez, grabbed his arm "in an effort to stop him." Vazquez continued to call Olmos to come back as Vazquez "stood in the bathroom with his pants still down." In the suit, Olmos claims that he tried to report the incident to a superior named Eric LaPointe, who allegedly responded by telling Olmos that "he was crazy" and "repeatedly threatening to fire" him. A few months after the incident, Olmos claims he was "terminated." Olmos is also suing for wrongful termination.
It just seems so weird for this guy to come forward now two years later, 6 months after Vasquez's album came out and failed. The timing just seems so weird don't you think?
And I can't resist making this joke, but does anyone know if Vasquez's idol was George Michael?

Sundance Head says a guy thinks he will win AI6 |

TMZ has audio of Sundance Head being interviewed by Ryan Seacrest on his morning show. When Ryan asked him if anyone of the contestants thought they were going to win American Idol, he said that one of the guys keeps saying he is the winner. Granted Sundance also said he was bitter for being voted off. I don't understand why it was such a shock, he wasn't going to make it to the top 10 (the tour number) anyways. Now back to male who thinks he is going to win Idol, I wonder who it is??? Blake Lewis has the best chance to win? Unless it is Chris Richardson, who might think he can win because the Judges love him? Or what about Brandon Rogers, there is just something about him. Maybe it is Chris Sligh making a funny and Sundance didn't get it? Who do you think it is???

Antonella Barba staying in LA for offers |

E! News spoke to Antonella Barba about being voted off of American Idol 6. Although she did not talk about her controversial photos, she did talk about what the near future holds for her.
She knew last night was the going to be the end of the road for her, "I had a gut feeling and it wasn't a good feeling. I was right." She then added what was is next for her, "I'm going to stick around LA for a couple weeks and see what kind of offers I get. I would like to continue singing. I would even look at acting offers, modeling and just see what's best for me."
So far she has offers from Girls Gone Wild and Playboy, it will be interesting to see what else she is going to get. After all it is pilot season!
Tune into E! News at 7p to see what else she has to say and those other 3 people who were eliminted.
UPDATE: USA Today was at today's American Idol cast-off press conference. We finally her from Antonella and how she felt about her pictures being out there."I hoped to remain on the show because of my talent. I hope the photos didn't affect where I got in the competition" Antonella felt, as she should, that she was exploited by the pictures being leaked online, "I've learned to be careful who you trust." When she was asked if the pictures affected the way she performed on the show, "That's not what I'm about," she said. "All that other stuff was irrelevant. It was definitely difficult (to deal with), and it wasn't how I intended things to go. But I tried to block out as much as possible and focus on the competition. I'm here to sing." They also asked her about the offer from Playboy, and sorry boys she said she said she will absolutely not pose for Playboy. She also adsed, "The pictures that actually are of me are very personal" That is not how I intended to portray myself nor do I intend to portray myself in the future. That was personal, private and not for the public." Dru Libby, a publicist for the show finally had to put an end to the questions, "She was almost in tears after the (30-minute media session)," Libby said. "You could tell she was wearing down. She was getting that lump in her throat where she was breaking down. After six questions…honestly, she couldn't take it anymore." I know several of you think those pictures are wrong, but I feel for her. I would hate to have something I thought was between my friends and me exposed like that and you can't defend yourself. What should be some of the happiest days of your life are you slowly becoming your worst. I wish her luck and hope she gets something. Hopefully not singing because that is not her niche.

American Idol 6’s Top 12…so yawn |

I still have no Idol, and I really doubt I will. To be honest I have not spoken to anyone who has picked one. People like LaKisha and Melinda, but no one I have spoken thinks either will win. I think the one with the best chance is Blake, but when it comes to Idol who knows. And when it comes to this year's Idol, it is who cares.
Right now I am just mentally preparing for Bon Jovi night, although I doubt I will ever be fully prepared to handle this group singing Bon Jovi. Pray for me and them because I am Living on Prayer for that night.
Last note, I can't wait to finally hear from Antonella Barba and what she has to say about those photos.

American Idol 2 Rosie O’Donnell -2 |

“Without wishing to add to the obvious self-promotion of Ms. O’Donnell, I feel as though I must refute her absurd and ridiculous claims that AMERICAN IDOL is racist and/or weightist.
“Ms. O’Donnell has, once again, spoken without thought or knowledge. Viewers need only look at the show tonight to realize that AMERICAN IDOL constantly confirms to America that talent has nothing to do with weight or color.”
Nigel Lythgoe, Executive Producer, AMERICAN IDOL

Rosie O'Donnell's posts normally don't make sense, but this one has to be the worst of them all. That is why I gave her a negative 2!
