According to Page Six, it will be like his radio show Here’s the Thing With Alec Baldwin but in front of the cameras. Here’s the Thing is described as, giving “the listener unique entrée into the lives of artists, policy makers and performers. Alec sidesteps the predictable by taking listeners inside the dressing rooms, apartments, and offices of people such as comedian Chris Rock, political strategist Ed Rollins and Oscar winner Michael Douglas.”
If someone would have told me that Alec Baldwin would be a great talk show host before Match Game, I never would have believed them. Now, I say I cannot wait to see what he does with it.
If it is a go, of course. They will be taping some test episodes next week and that will give ABC their first glimpse if it should be a go. Then the tough part is finding out where to put in the overpopulated talk show space on ABC.
