I think it is safe to say that a lot of people think Charlie Sheen is nuts. We are not the only ones, so does the advertising company behind Planters peanuts because they asked him to be in their Super Bowl commercial that is really nutty. The actor agreed to do it even though he only has one line in the ad. But what a line it is. He declares, “And people think I’m nuts.” He is but not as nuts as Mr. Peanut.

If you are NYC and have absolutely no intention of watching the Super Bowl on February 3rd, then Skittles has a treat for you. For one day only the Great White Way will taste the rainbow because you can see Michael C Hall starring in Skittles Commercial: The Broadway Musical at the Town Hall on Broadway. All proceeds from the half-hour show are going to Broadway Cares, which is a really good cause.
The musical is being described as, “Through song and dance, the show takes an absurdly self-reflective look at consumerism and the ever-increasing pervasiveness of brand advertising in our lives.” It makes me want to jump on a plane to go see the show.
Although, you have to wonder what has happened to Michael C Hall’s career. I know the ending for Dexter was bad, but not this bad for his career.

For 3 decades, Gillette’s catchphrase has been, “The best a man can get.” In 2019, they are asking is “The best men can be?”
A lot has happened in the last two years. Women are shouting it is no longer saying it is OK to sexually harass us and men are waking up to the way they have been treating women. Therefore, Gillette wants to be part of the change. As in the men of tomorrow will not be like the men of the past. They came up with an ad and a campaign, asking men to be better And my hat is off to them.
We can all make a difference, one shave with a Gillette razor at a time.

Lindsay Lohan is as known for her run ins with the law as her acting career, so it make sense that Lawyers.com would ask her to be their spokesperson. I guess. At least that is what they were thinking and the company just released their first as with her. Does it make you want to use their service?
I wonder if they are paying her or if they bartered it so that she gets to use their services for free. I think the latter is a more cost effective option for her.

Even though it is not Super Bowl Sunday just yet, companies are releasing their commercials early. Doritos Blaze and MTN DEW ICE just released their ad and it is going to be a fan favorite. It starts out with Peter Dinklage busting out Busta Rhymes part of Chris Brown’s Look at Me Now for Doritos. Then when his solo ended, it was time for Morgan Freeman to get Missy Elliott’s Freak On for Mountain Dew.
Now that you have seen the hot and cold for the Super Bowls ads, are you hot or are you cold? Which makes you wonder why they did not use Katy Perry’s song for the advertisement as a duet? Personally, I would have taken it back to the ’90s with Buster Poindexter’s Hot, Hot, Hot and Vanilla Ice’s Ice, Ice, Ice Baby for the lip sync battle. But that might be too obvious. And I like the rest of Advertising class at University of Miami did not go in to the field, so what do I know. I was just the only one who was told not to go into it.
