Bill Murray spent Groundhog’s Day with Bob
February 3rd, 2013 under 70s. [ Comments: 1 ]

While some people will say that their favorite Bill Murray movie is Groundhog Day, the one I like most with him in it is What About Bob? So when the legendary and wonderful Bob Newhart Tweeted this picture of him and Bob Wiley, I just had to share all of that awesomeness with you.
BTW can you believe that Groundhog Day turns 20 on the 12th? How is that movie so old? It felt like it just came out yesterday and day before that and the before that and…

Danny Bonaduce has really changed since he got bitten by that fan!
October 3rd, 2012 under 70s. [ Comments: none ]

On Friday Danny Bonaduce was bitten on the cheek by a fan and today we are seeing what has happened to him since then. Danny Partridge Tweeted a picture and said, “The changes from the bite are beginning to take effect…” Is it wrong for me to think that the change might be an improvement? Joking!
BTW I hope Syfy is following him on Twitter because I think there is a potential for a sequel to Bigfoot somewhere in tale of his latest misadventure.

Fan leaves her teeth marks on Danny Bonaduce
October 1st, 2012 under 70s. [ Comments: none ]

Danny Bonaduce is a radio DJ in Seattle now and part of the job is doing appearances at local events. Well on Friday The Partridge Family star was doing a meat, I mean meet and greet, at Western Washington casino when a fan asked if she could get a kiss. Happy to oblige, he leaned in to get closer and she bit his cheek. He told KING-5 “It’s like having 10 lit, wadded up cigarettes and stuffing them against my cheek and not having them go out.” The he added, “I’ve been shot and I’ve been stabbed … this hurt worse.”
So does he plan on taking a bite out of crime? Nope, he just wants to know why she did it. I hope the next time they meat, I mean meet up, she is wearing a muzzle for his sake.

Melissa Peterman’s son is jealous of her Baby Daddy granddaughter!
August 29th, 2012 under 70s, Baby Daddy, Freeform, Melissa Peterman. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight is sadly the season finale of Baby Daddy on ABC Family at 8:30p, but thankfully it will be back with new episodes soon. A few weeks ago I spoke to one of my favorite funny ladies Melissa Peterman, who plays the mother of the Baby Daddy and we talked about the show. She told me, “I am so proud of what we did in 10 episodes. That is like a really short amount of time to flesh out the story. These writers are so good about feeling the chemistry of the cast and writing towards us. So I am super proud.” She then added, “I am really proud and I feel like they really set a great foundation to tell more stories.”
There was one story that was told last week and I really hope it will continue in future episodes. Greg Grunberg guest starred on the show as Bonnie’s(Peterman) ex-husband aka the baby’s grandfather. Now I know at first the mother of a 6 year old was a little hesitant about playing a grandmother, but then she realized the benefits of being a young grandmother. So I asked her how Grunberg reacted to playing a grandfather on the show, she said “I think he embraced it like I did. You know what you are going to be hottest grandma and grandpa or at least ones that can drive at night. He enjoyed it. He was a good sport and I have a little bit more of a crush on him now then I did before.” And I am sure he feels the same way, how could you not like this very funny lady.
She told me she enjoyed working with a crush, now I want to know what scenes she liked filming this season. She said, “My favorite scene is with Derek when he is shirtless. I kept breaking during that scene because it is so hard…he looks like he is chiseled out from marble. I love scenes with Taj because we have a very good chemistry and we make each other laugh a lot. Chelsea makes me laugh, they all do.” It is nice to hear that not only does the cast make us laugh, but that they make each other laugh too.
There is one critic she really wants to make laugh and that is her son. When I asked if he watches, she told me “Wiley is 6. He just discovered the reruns of Reba and he thinks they are really funny. He was little when we were making them. But this one he loves the show. Although he gets a little jealous about the baby. He says ‘Whose that baby?’ I’m like ‘That’s Ally and that’s Suzy. That’s not my baby.’ He’s like ‘why you holding that baby so much?’ He’s six and he really doesn’t want to be carried around any more but yet it’s kind of sweet to have him act like that. He thinks the show is very funny.” She then told me what about the show always make her little boy laugh, “He always laughs at the title. He and his little friend go Baby Daddy and they giggle because they think it is hilarious.” If they only knew what it meant…
And one thing I do mean is that Baby Daddy is ABC Family’s best comedy so far, so if you are not watching it you are missing out on a hilarious show with a funny cast. So why not start watching it tonight and then catch up on the other episodes on ABCFamily.com. I promise you will laugh as hard as her son when he says “Baby Daddy”!

Before Melissa Peterman was a cashier on Working Class, she was a hooker in Fargo. She looks the same now as she did when she was 24 on in that 1996 movie. Ya, you betcha, ya.
