Yesterday on Jeopardy, they had a whole category dedicated to Survivor, and Jeff Probst read the questions. They did this in honor of the competition show celebrating its 40th season and 20th year on television.
When they were done with the category (that I totally sucked at), Alex Trebeck had something to say. He told the cameras, “I can’t believe that Survivor has been on the air four years longer than Jeopardy. And Jeff has not changed one bit in appearance. And look at me. I need a break.”
After the break, he had something else to say, “I am feeling so relieved. I found out during the commercial break that Survivor, although it’s in its 40th season right now, it’s only in its 20th year. So I’m feeling like I am looking pretty good, after all.” I will take, that he is for $2,000.
The tribe has spoken, and Alex Trebeck is such a treasure. How can you not love him? It is nice to see him make a joke at his expense, and then a better one when it wasn’t.
