Even though Quantum Leap ended almost 21 years ago, Scott Bakula is still leaping, Yesterday on
The Arsenio Hall Show, it was revealed that he leaped into the late night’s host body after his last visit on the original version of the talk show. Too bad he couldn’t have leaped into the head of TNT’s body to save Men of a Certain Age because that was such a good show. Actually better yet, too bad he didn’t leap into the head of NBC’s body and saved Quantum Leap all those years ago.
So here is a funny story about Quantum Leap, my dad discovered the show on G4 and feel in love with it. Then one day he called me all upset, and that is because the network suddenly cancelled the show. But that wasn’t the only reason why he was upset, the last episode that they aired was the first part of a two parter. So he doesn’t know how the JFK episode ended and I tease him every now and again threatening to tell him how ended. And to make matters worse that episode is not on Netflix or Hulu, and I am too cheap to buy him the DVDs. Although one day I might give in because he is still upset that the show got cancelled. Almost as much as I was when it was cancelled the first time.
