Astronaut Christina Hammock Koch spent nine days circling the moon in Artemis II, and there was someone down on Earth who was really missing her.
Sadie, her dog, couldn’t wait to see her mom. So as soon as Koch could get home to see her best friend, she did. And their reunion was caught on camera.
Koch wrote, “I’m still pretty sure I was the happier side of this reunion. Sadie taught me everything I needed to know about being an emotional support animal. Didn’t expect that would come in handy.”
I think they are both equally happy to see each other. And that is why animals are the best!!! And now, when Koch tells Sadie, “I love you to the moon and back,” she means it!!!
I just have to say, I love all those videos of dogs (the cat ones are totally AI because no cat is that happy to see their pet, I mean owner) being reunited with their best friends when they come back from the military. And now I know, I get just as emotional watching a puppy being reunited with their master who has returned from Space.
